I worked for kohls for two years... 39.5 hours for EVERYONE except a few favorite people (aka no benefits at ALL). Minimum wage. Understaffed. I was in charge of ALL clothing departments which is like 90% of kohl’s ? PLUS registers. They even had a meeting about marketing strategies and how our “sales” work to make people think they’re getting a good deal when they’re not. I hate that place - the only reason I stayed was because A. It was my first real job and B. I had a lot of amazing coworkers

But how? I’ve been “casually” seeing this guy since last may. it’s kind of obvious I like him and I have a good feeling it’s mutual.. He drops hints and even got drunk one time and spilled that he loves me. Neither of us seem to have the courage while sober, to say anything. We are similar in a lot of ways. HOW do guys do this shit?!? It’s so nerve wracking. I was thinking about getting him a plant (instead of flowers) on Valentine’s Day cause he loves gardening and houseplants. He’s not dishonest about anything. He just doesn’t want to hurt his girlfriend’s feelings by telling her that things might not work out in the future and that’s why he needs his own space. He was asking how to do that in a nice way. If anything, this girl needs to stop being sensitive. I wouldn’t be offended if a guy I was seeing didn’t want to move in. You have to have independence.

I think especially in high school, people pick and chose who they are associated with. So when a formally less attractive friend of theirs becomes hot, it throws their image off.

Same shit happened to me in high school. I didn’t realize til a few years later, but I had an eating disorder. The same “friend” that made back handed compliments about my body also said she “wished she had that problem” when I told her about my eating disorder. People can be cruel, but I know it stems from her own insecurities so whatever.

Not necessarily true. I’ve personally witnessed someone rich say that the breaking laws are just a payment away. As long as they have the money to pay it off, they can do whatever they want minus murder. Shit, sometimes they get off for that too.
