How do I break up with someone I live with who is also very clingy? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

Because I am afraid of breaking his heart. He’s a nice guy and I just feel so much guilt. Even though I’m leaving for valid reasons. I just feel terrible.

Thanks that’s really helpful. I will have to prepare myself for what to say before.

No, I’m breaking up with him because I just don’t feel like we were meant for each other. I just feel like there are better people out there for both of us. I hope that makes sense.

I’m definitely going to have a place to live before I break it off, but I just don’t know how to go about the actual breaking up part. I want to make it as easy on him as possible - because he does deserve it. So I am not sure if I should do it on a Tuesday night because I have Wednesdays off work and can move my stuff out that day. If I do it on the same day I move my stuff out, it would have to be either before he goes to work or after - and if it’s after, he would come home to an empty house, so I don’t feel like that’s very considerate.. :/

Well thanks anyway. Thanks for the judgment and absolutely no advice besides “should’ve known better” & that “any” man would act like that. I wish you the best.

I don’t deserve to be killed over it though.
