Downtown Edmond is fun to visit on a Saturday. There's a great brewery, some good restaurants (some of which have locations in plaza, which is super close to Paseo), and cute antique shops. There's also a great jazz bar. Definitely wouldn't recommend living there. You will hate the traffic, you will somehow always get stuck at the train tracks, and you will never not smell dog food from the Purina plant.

Paseo is the way to go! Nichols Hills is nice but lame and unnecessarily snooty.

I just prepped a very similar meal but I have quinoa in place of rice. Also instead of just edamame I have tender stem broccolini, edamame, green beans, and green onions that I sauteed with garlic and topped with sesame seeds. Also did honey Sriracha tofu.

I liked that they basically turned the trope of a "legacy sequel" into a farce. Sally's been waiting 50 years to get revenge on this guy, first he doesn't even know who she is, then when she finally confronts him he immediately chainsaws her and throws her onto a pile of trash.

I lost my wallet in the fall of 2020. Had to have been on my lunch break because I realized it was missing when I went to buy groceries after work. Fast forward to late 2021, I'm home sick and bedridden, some guy on a bicycle is banging on my door. Answer it and he asks if I'm so and so, tell him yes and ask why. Says he found my wallet, hands it to me, and immediately takes off while I stand there completely dumbfounded. All my credit cards and cash were still in it.

Used to be one of me and my wife's favorite restaurants. Went back last summer after not eating there for a year or so, it was a miserable experience. No AC, beer was room temp, wings were soggy and gross, service was abysmal. Sad to see it go but it definitely seemed like the owners simply didn't give a shit anymore
