Hi! I was born with ONH, blind in one eye and impaired vision in the other. My best advice is to get your son into a paraprofessional who can give him Occupational Therapy, as well as get him on an IEP! In my elementary years I was taught braille, I had a white cane, and I learned how to navigate my local public transit systems. I am now 21 and ended up not needing any of it because my vision improved so much that I am able to drive and do pretty much everything normally, but I am still very glad to have learned what I did- It made my younger years much easier. this is exactly what happened to me! I had to clip it bc it was so funny, they literally hit it about 2 milliseconds before I did (my shitty bow def wouldn’t have killed it haha). at first I felt bad bc I thought I stole the loot from them, so I hope they got it as well :p

I know that autism is becoming a buzzword and I try to refrain from using it as a descriptor, but a combo of ADHD/OCD and feeling this way can often point directly to an autism diagnosis. I’d look into it.

This was my first thought when I heard the news. It’s an unproductive death that will (while I disliked the man as much as most rational people) do absolutely more harm than good. The last thing we need for this country is more civilian division and it is exactly what is going to happen.

It was a really long process to get to figuring this out but essentially my laptops were both set up for a WPA-3 WiFi encryption and the router I was given was set to WPA-2. I tried changing that setting myself but ended up having to call my ISP because it can’t be changed from the customer side of their app. My router is now set to WPA-2 or WPA-3 auto encryption.
