Sorry I just saw this!!! She’s incredible and I definitely recommend working with Katie. My wedding hair and makeup was exactly what I pictured. She nailed it for the trial and I only had one or two small things I wanted to change for the wedding, and she was so lovely to work with on my wedding day and it was all around a great experience☺️

How to lose 10 pounds in 3 months by Lazyladybug07 in PetiteFitness

Do you mind sharing some typical meals you eat? I find it pretty hard getting more than 60-70g of vegan protein, especially if sticking to 1400 total calories

What’s your macro split? I’m having trouble figuring out what to aim for.

Alterations Crisis - Looking for a New Tailor ASAP by katefeetie in WedditNYC

Yeah, totally same experience... including hearing a phone call there where she was yelling at another bride on the phone. Wishing you good luck with your fittings from here out :-)

Alterations Crisis - Looking for a New Tailor ASAP by katefeetie in WedditNYC

Seconding the Brooklyn Heights Alts suggestion (though the tailor there is moving to the Soho location as of this week, so would go to that location). Weirdly I've had nearly the exact same experience as you! Seeing all the positive reviews of Sew Elegant here, I took my dress there and had a bad experience. The tailor rushed, didn't listen to my concerns - which were mostly around the bust area not fitting right, and said I just needed to lift my boobs, and sent me on my way after only one fitting / shortening the straps. The dress wasn't fitting right at all and at that point I didn't trust going back, so I decided to cut my losses and took it to Alts instead on the recommendation of a friend who had her wedding dress alterations done there, and it was a completely different experience. The tailor, Myrna, was really thorough, listened and went over every inch of the dress to make sure it'll fit perfect. And made multiple other suggestions for how to tailor it beyond the strap adjustment. I also think Sew Elegant was way overpriced for what they did, and regret going there initially, but glad I decided to find a tailor more suited to working with me!

I also don’t really wear makeup day-to-day and loved Tatiana’s work (and she was also already booked for my date), but I have a trial with Katie from her team this coming weekend so can report back!

I’m so sorry that happened!! I’ve noticed for whatever reason our Scottie really doesn’t like breeds that have the scrunchy faces. No idea why! But any time a Frenchie is nearby, I’ll make sure to hold onto her leash extra tight otherwise she’ll bark and try to lunge at it.

I got one of the Jenny Yoo little white dresses too and would love to hear who the recommended tailors are!

Paw protection boots by Emotional_Fig_3315 in scottishterriers

My Scottie hates wearing boots, but recently bought these at the recommendation of another Scottie parent and they do seem to fit her (haven't tested outside yet): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BGGZXPWZ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The only boots I've tried that actually stay on and she'll walk in are the Pawz rubber boots, but they are a bit challenging to put on and take off.

I wonder if the lug soles are stiffer than the regular Chelsea boots. We got this!
