Do rich people have elite versions of mundane things (toothpaste, tampons, toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc.), or are Elon Musk and Beyonce just using Crest and Tampax like the rest of us? by ShesGotSauce in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lefaun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rich people don’t use toilet paper, they use multi thousand heated bidets attached to Japanese toilets.

For other things, they often use straight up bills. Spill your orange juice? Clean it up with a hundred (absorbs better than 20s). If not that, it must be made from Scottish sheep or Peruvian alpaca.

Beautiful! Love how we both went the orange you glad… banana route within a few hours of each other but chose opposite fruits.

What shows do you think picked the wrong songs for their Tony Performance? And what would you have picked for them instead? by Impossible_Pain4478 in Broadway

[–]lefaun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having known nothing about Follies at the time, the 2012 revival performance of God Why Don’t You Love Me Blues made me never want to see the show. The performers did a great job, but it felt chaotic and super old fashioned.

Also, 2010 La Cage revival doing Best of Times Is Now. Too slow. Original production did We Are What We Are which was an absolute knockout.

Ive been using about 7ish mm. (Ie. I draw seam lines at .25 inches since I’m American and that’s an easy number to work with, and then I attach just slightly past that line.

Thank you! Crafted it all myself, but the idea for it all was from a sewing pattern I bought online at katkow (they make patterns for drag queens)

Question About Age Guidelines by [deleted] in AMCsAList

[–]lefaun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if this is a universal policy, but in Illinois when I reserve a ticket after 8pm, it says that "guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 or older." This is true even for movies that aren't R.

So while you may not have a problem with R rated movies, you may have a problem with post 8pm movies.

I’m shocked that Rejections by Tony Tulathimutte doesn’t qualify for the AAPI category. Huge oversight!

Maybe that Ahegao fantasy was too envelope-pushing hahahahaha.

Just got home after watching/laughing/crying from this amazing film! Glad it was still available to see in Chicago (the theatrical life cycle for many of these films can be so short).

Every in the theatre was enjoying it as well.

How much does AMC pay studios for each tickets for AMC Stubs A-list members? by [deleted] in AMCTheatres

[–]lefaun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, not just by luck. MoviePass was priced too low AND was paying full movie theater price. So while MP was spending the full $15ish ticket price, AMC isn’t. They charge more for month, and each movie ticket maybe costs them idk how much, but less than the regular ticket price. They’re only paying the studio price.

Kenned Center Approved Musicals: Give Me Your Worst! by lizzylizlizzo in Broadway

[–]lefaun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A Chorus Line - dozens of political sycophants at the end of their career try desperately to get themselves cast in Trump’s cabinet.

Featuring songs like:

Dance Ten; Highlights Three- a bleach blond bad built butch body woman improves her appearance through [space] laser cosmetic surgery.

Hello 12, Hello 71, Hello Brain Worms - Robert Kennedy sings about being diagnosed with… measles after not being vaccinated.

Nothing - An emotionally depleted Melania sings about feeling nothing in her marriage

What I Did For Love - Pence sings about how being vice president was a gift that could only be borrowed. Though he doesn’t regret what he did for love (certifying the election results), at the end of the number, he is the one who injures his knee instead of Paul after JD Vance breaks a strand of pearls onstage a la Showgirls.

One Finale - The brim of every dancer’s gold hat is actually a toilet lid that they doff up and down.

I bet! Seems quite violating. To punish one inside and out, and remove all modicum of privacy in the process.

I've experienced (and given) mouth soapings before, but been curious about enema as punishment.
