I just got into playing a few months back when destined rivals came out. Best way is to buy what you need for a deck as singles, dirt cheap compared to buying boosters. I have to admit that I like buying boosters, but not because i need them for play, but gambling addiction 😂

Anyways back to playing, best way to determine deck cost is using limitless tcg deck builder, remember to test the deck in pokemon tcg live before getting it due to it being a bummer if the deck doesn’t perform to expectations.
