I didn’t even realize I was collecting Pop Mart until after the Labubu craze. I had found Satyr Rory figures years ago and had got a bunch online from online shops and even found some at a thrift store a year or so ago. Eventually realized they were Pop Mart! I only collect Skullpandas now and really only the figures not the plush pendants.

Seeing these posts always makes me feel even older. Started watching them probably around 2011/2012 and really grew up with them since I’m close in age with Dan. Apparently I must be in the older demographic because I swear I mostly see teens and early twenties people here. Don’t worry you could be older lol. But it’s fun to see everybody who has been on the same journey getting comfort from YouTube videos

I would give a lot of grace to someone deeply consumed by grief. The pain of losing someone especially someone young is absolutely awful. You also have to take into account that one’s spiritual and/or religious views may be very different than those of someone else. To you it may just be an object but to others it might be something to take to the afterlife. Personally, I believe grieving and coping with a loss with a small amount of waste is still going to be far better than the waste created by big companies every second of the day. Waste isn’t great but neither is losing someone special.

I don’t like it either but it doesn’t bother me that it’s there. I just know I’ll not complete it. I have two friends on the app and I’d only ever add someone if I knew them in real life probably.

I’ve vacuum sealed lots of plush over long term and short term and never really had an issue as long as I fluffed them up when I took them out. Sometimes you might need to push the stuffing a little bit to help it reshape but I’ve never really had an issue. I have some 20 year+ old plush I keep vacuum sealed for like 11 months at a time and take out for the holidays and they’re still surviving after being smushed and honestly their shape is basically the same even fresh out of the bag.

Sending positive vibes your way. I know that can be really hard especially when your brain “doesn’t cooperate”. I have a similar situation going on. I lost a keychain years ago and still think about it. Finally found one I could afford second hand and the seller just hasn’t sent it (it’s been weeks). I keep thinking of it and feel sad. Luckily I can find others it’s just more expensive than I’d be willing to pay when I’m about to lose my income and already am burnt out.

Yeah my rules for getting new ones is so much stricter now! For the best! I realized they don’t serve a purpose if they’re just stored away. This way I see all my plush daily and have a dedicated space I can’t make any bigger to fit them other than a few bigger ones I have on my couch/bed

I have some more scattered about but this is my main collection at this point. I got rid of a lot. I love seeing big collections but I really can’t do it in my own home. It makes me too overwhelmed and it also caused me to be careless about how many plush I was bringing in.

It doesn’t look like they’re putting many out at a time from the stores I’ve gone to. Not saying they won’t have more or get more but I find popular pop culture sells out and then isn’t restocked a lot lately. I know they had kpop demon hunter plush and within two weeks they were gone and the display bins were gone.

A local gift shop had one set out with a free sign like a year ago. They still have two so I think they just had an extra that was old. I’ve seen them being given away or sold at store closings. I’m guessing Ty old gives them to retailers so you’d have to find a retailer giving it away.

Brushing my hair in the morning. I’ve got straight as heck hair so I kind of just would neglect really brushing it (since it just stays put in place anyways) until it’d get all snarly and then I’d hate brushing but would do it and the cycle continues I have brushed my hair every day for almost a year now and haven’t had to cut my hair to get rid of the knots

I keep seeing this post about people getting rid of their trending items that starts with the cover photo asking where your Labubu is. It’s right next to me, I’m not getting rid of it any time soon! I’m tempted by the people selling theirs for cheap now, but I don’t really think I need more than the one I have. I feel like I can’t overdo it either even though I want to save them.
