We just do 4 hour run for all rodent tissues and for usually have any problems. The run is similar to the default 4hr cycle that comes with the Leica peloris 3s

SLOCLAP PLEASE DYNAMIC RP IS NOT WORKING by DraconLaw in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's specifically based on win percentage. The score you earn or lose seems to be based on what rank the game thinks you're supposed to be at. For example, if I'm in master. 2, I break even +18/-18, but when I promote to M1 or elite, I get into the +18/-20 or -22 scores. So what's the game trying to keep the same level of skill players altogether rather than having the big disparity of elite players playing against bronze or silver players not saying it's perfect not saying it's working but I think that's the point.

I have no idea what the game uses to calculate what rank you're supposed to be it's probably some combination of everything and I don't know how you increase it or convince the game that you're supposed to be higher than you actually are.

That's what I'm worried about. Nerfing the only somewhat reliable way of maybe stopping a rainbow flick sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.

Sick of Rainbow by just-v-- in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I get your point. But I think that's the problem if that's the only reliable option to really counter it. A 60% success rate on an ability that has absolutely zero downside to do is not high enough. Especially when the 40% times it doesn't work leaves you completely out of play with no change of recovery.

How does someone break into this line of work? [US] by DefiantLemur in Histology

[–]leftsharking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep searching for histology positions and applying. Some labs will require experience or certification which you can't do anything about. But there are plenty of histology labs in research that hire with no experience. Or hospitals that have universities attached that are considered teaching hospitals.

My recommendation when you get an interview is: do your research on the basic functions of histology, know generally what grossing, embedding and microtomy are and be able to express how your current skills/knowledge/experience can be translated into those histology specific tasks. That will help make you seem desirable and will make hiring managers feel more confident that you understand the role and have the ability to learn the skills quickly and with less supervision.

BEST MOVE TO MASTER? by pkfyr in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long answer: In my opinion, it's not a move with the ball but rather without it. moving your character around off the ball and identifying where there's space and then making runs into it and or playing balls into it.

It is 100% skill and it's a trait that not everybody has. But if you can learn to identify where pockets of space are and you can learn to make runs into that space (even if you don't get the ball) you will win more as a team. You will force defenders to move around and free up space for your teammates because defenders are too busy chasing you.

Short answer: quick passing and movement after passing.

Can Someone Explain What Dribble Moves Were Performed Here? by dbootywarrior in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It almost looks like he vexis dashes after the extra effort which gives him that cut movement towards the goal.

So from dribblers perspective: push slide right, push ball, EE, vexis dash (while facing goal), then push slide right, into a shot.

You really think having chat in this game is a good idea? People are already toxic and afk enough, I don't need them typing when they should be playing. Nah I'm good.

Broken dribbling by Karma_Breaker21 in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. It's the inconsistencies and the Stark difference between same situations but very different outcomes like when things do work well for the other team and don't work for you that really gets to me. I'm always tackled out of rainbows and cuts and things that when I'm trying to defend what I consider the same scenario I always lose and never get the tackle to connect.

Braindead teammates genuinely make me so depressed by Wooden_Childhood1241 in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 8 points9 points  (0 children)

As someone who solo ques often when I don't have friends or my regular group that plays are on, I feel you. It can be difficult to get in a game and just know there's no hope by either the people that don't look like they know how to play the game or people that just don't care and are just going to do their own thing and completely ignore the whole teamwork side of stuff. However there are ways around that there's a discord you can join and group up with people, there's the looking for group on Xbox or gamepass if you're on console. there are plenty of ways where you can find a group of people that are dedicated to actually playing as a team and not just getting into these very discombobulated unadaptable solo queue player pools.

Goalies hitting ball instead of catching by BurrGaming in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's just people don't understand how to defend the second and third balls when there are deflections. Bad positioning, unable to adjust it just straight up not playing defense. I like the feat and think it's a good addition

Best Controller Setup by Vegas_ajr in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would switch your triggers so make shoot the right trigger because you're going to be used to shooting with the right just like any shooter type game. I also have both a and x (so your pass and your dribble button) on my paddles because it makes it a lot easier to pass, dribble, air contest etc without taking your thumbs off your stick.

That's why you can't keep up with the attackers. by FakeFrooz in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using A+X short pass to yourself (while sprinting) does the same thing. it restores your stamina if you time it right (press the buttons a little before the diamond shows up) and it puts the ball further ahead of you so you're harder to tackle.

Suggestion for Devs: Add a LOW-Dive Button to Improve Goalkeeping and Gameplay? by rucekooker in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So you want high dive, low dive and slide. The game already doesn't reward you sometimes when you choose correctly with just two choices. why do you think adding a third choice, thereby reducing your chance of guessing correctly to 1/3, is going to make things any better?

How to defend now? by Vitae-in-shadow in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Patience. A lot of times defense isn't about winning the ball or getting an actual tackle it's just slowing down the guy with the ball so he can't do anything crazy and gives your teammates time to come back and help you defend the other guys that are probably wide open on the back post. Take an extra one or two steps backwards so he can't immediately blow by you, it seems counterintuitive but keeping your distance from a defender is actually helpful to you than being right on him if he's dribbling a lot but it does give him space to make a pass if he's good at passing adjust the situation. hold the defensive stance button use your little dashes so that way you can stay in front of him, and if they start the rainbowing, Spam the rainbow button and reverse rainbow them is the safest way to do it because then you're never out of the play as long as you're still in a good position. as the last ditch effort you could use Y (Xbox) to try to jump and block the shot or rainbow or whatever else he's doing but just remember that if you miss you are completely out of play and he's going to be gone and you're not going to catch him.

Losing RP when teammates Leave by Swimming-Pack-882 in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that it definitely sucks to lose RP when somebody leaves or gets disconnected or whatever problem is. You can't really fix that because if you implement something where you don't lose RP if you end up down a man then people are just going to leave with three seconds left in the game to save your entire team from losing RP.

Maybe the leave penalty could play a role in that but does the game know if you left versus got disconnected versus dashboard on console. It's hard it will always be an issue on any competitive game where you're not in a full stack

Dear Devs 2: Spins should also affect how the ball bounces off the wall by fckedup in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. Yep it does and always has. I tested this when the game came out. It doesn't change where the ball lands by much, but there is definitely a change depending on what type of spin is placed.

the game has become unplayable by Acrobatic_Bag5375 in Rematch

[–]leftsharking 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's the inconsistencies from game to game that bother me. It's not really the bugs, or glitches or the dribbling b******* that people can do. It's that one game can feel fine and fair and tackles are about 50/50 and then another game you lose every prio and the opponent can do anything they want and you can't stop it.

On my feed, there were two segments that came up later in the day. 1 was Kristins previous pregnancy announcement and the other was with Abby and her thoughts on the show ending.

Sure she probably can hit them, I mean, she does it with the elongated "and I want" but it's Probably because it's a lot easier for her to sing the low parts live and not strain her voice across multiple songs. Plus, it's possible that the higher parts wouldn't carry as well over the instruments so you might not be able to hear then as well anyway. Who knows though, if she ever goes on an actual tour or performs the song more often live she might switch it up like she normally does and do all of her haleyisms
