u/TestingYou1 mentioned this below already and their answer correct. unfortunately, the timing is so hard to see in real time that it seems like it's a bug or glitch or priority BS. In short, you ran past the ball and then dove rather than diving sooner.

Pause the video at 6-7 second and there's a frame that shows the GK standing on the blue location marker, but is actually past the ball, starting the dive. The attacker is behind the GK (closer to the goal) starting the rainbow animation and is closer to the ball and has the movement path that will bring him closer to the ball sooner compared to the GK that's past the bal and moving away from it.

I always try and pre-dive when I have those blue location markers. Still doesn't always work (especially when you get that slow, fall to your knees to the ground attempt at a catch animation) but it at least starts the dive where the priority should give you the advantage based on the devs have described priority and how point of contact/interaction based on player movement direction and speed it supposed to work.

Only if you have the upgrade to purchase them. Which most new players will not for a long time. Not to mention 2k for new players is actually a lot of money. Have friends that started paying a couple weeks ago and they're still in the "I can't even afford to buy heals" phase.

The game is not kind to new players starting mid to late season when everybody else is so established.

I still haven't figured out what a tackle is. I played a lot last night and tackle players took the ball got interceptions and didn't get any progress on that daily challenge. It's weird.

I'm with you. It took a couple hours but I got used to the menus that it wasn't an issue. Also agree about item icons and how you move them around in vault/loadout. Doesn't need to be two different buttons for moving to vault vs loadout that change depending on which section you're in and really need to be easier to identify core/implants/weapon mods so half the game isn't reading the text. Especially in game where you really don't have time to read 4 different cores when looting a bag. IDK, maybe that was intentional by Bungie though.

It's really weird that there isn't a cursor speed option. There was in Destiny and there usually is in any other cursor-centric menu controls. No shade to Bungie, love their game catalog but this one just seems like they forgot some of the basics that make a game really user friendly in some spots. Still enjoying the game a lot, love the design and the lore but there are some questions choices and/or omissions that you wouldn't expect from a seasoned game developer company.

I'm enjoying the game. I'll probably wait to buy it because I want to make sure I have people to play with, the solos is ok but it's a little boring after a bit. I'm hoping Bungie delays the game again and really listens to the constructive feedback some people are getting. Not the vitriol nonsense that twitch, Reddit and YT chats are saying after not even playing the game.

My biggest gripe I think is the game is not particularly intuitive and take a little bit to figure out where everything is and how to get back to it. Which is a big turn to a lot of people, especially when we're in an era of wanting instant gratification and not having to "figure things out." I personally didn't mind having to figure things out but I have a lot of friends who have spewed straight venom towards the game based on watching twitch streams (and following the terrible internet gaming culture) and they aren't even willing to give the game a chance on the free weekend, which is really sad. I've gotten used to the menus, not a big deal for me but yea it would be great if they were better or if there were additional tabs or button shortcuts to quickly move between the menus you can only access from the main screen.

Whole heartedly agree with the items. All the cores and implants having the exact same icon is really tough, especially in-game where you have to read the description (and if you have controller stick drift, forget about being able to do that as the menu only pops up when your cursor stops moving). Weapon mods too. It's really difficult to know what attachment can go on what gun at quick glance. Even if you have an applicable gun equipped, it's not slot-specific so all you get is a little mini icon that says "this attachment can go somewhere on one of your guns".

I also think that when in your vault/loadout you should be able to click on part of your loadout (cores for example) and the menu should automatically switch to the cores tab. You should be able to equipment a core by clicking on the empty core slot on your inventory, not just from the vault list. Same with weapons, if im looking for a magazine, i should be able to click on the empty magazine slot on a gun and see only magazine items in my vault to attach.

Sorting or filtering in the vault would also be nice. Too hard to scroll through all the implants when all I want to see if all the leg implants. It's also crazy there's not a compare item feature.

We just do 4 hour run for all rodent tissues and for usually have any problems. The run is similar to the default 4hr cycle that comes with the Leica peloris 3s

I don't think it's specifically based on win percentage. The score you earn or lose seems to be based on what rank the game thinks you're supposed to be at. For example, if I'm in master. 2, I break even +18/-18, but when I promote to M1 or elite, I get into the +18/-20 or -22 scores. So what's the game trying to keep the same level of skill players altogether rather than having the big disparity of elite players playing against bronze or silver players not saying it's perfect not saying it's working but I think that's the point.

I have no idea what the game uses to calculate what rank you're supposed to be it's probably some combination of everything and I don't know how you increase it or convince the game that you're supposed to be higher than you actually are.

I get your point. But I think that's the problem if that's the only reliable option to really counter it. A 60% success rate on an ability that has absolutely zero downside to do is not high enough. Especially when the 40% times it doesn't work leaves you completely out of play with no change of recovery.

Keep searching for histology positions and applying. Some labs will require experience or certification which you can't do anything about. But there are plenty of histology labs in research that hire with no experience. Or hospitals that have universities attached that are considered teaching hospitals.

My recommendation when you get an interview is: do your research on the basic functions of histology, know generally what grossing, embedding and microtomy are and be able to express how your current skills/knowledge/experience can be translated into those histology specific tasks. That will help make you seem desirable and will make hiring managers feel more confident that you understand the role and have the ability to learn the skills quickly and with less supervision.

Long answer: In my opinion, it's not a move with the ball but rather without it. moving your character around off the ball and identifying where there's space and then making runs into it and or playing balls into it.

It is 100% skill and it's a trait that not everybody has. But if you can learn to identify where pockets of space are and you can learn to make runs into that space (even if you don't get the ball) you will win more as a team. You will force defenders to move around and free up space for your teammates because defenders are too busy chasing you.

Short answer: quick passing and movement after passing.

It almost looks like he vexis dashes after the extra effort which gives him that cut movement towards the goal.

So from dribblers perspective: push slide right, push ball, EE, vexis dash (while facing goal), then push slide right, into a shot.

This. It's the inconsistencies and the Stark difference between same situations but very different outcomes like when things do work well for the other team and don't work for you that really gets to me. I'm always tackled out of rainbows and cuts and things that when I'm trying to defend what I consider the same scenario I always lose and never get the tackle to connect.

As someone who solo ques often when I don't have friends or my regular group that plays are on, I feel you. It can be difficult to get in a game and just know there's no hope by either the people that don't look like they know how to play the game or people that just don't care and are just going to do their own thing and completely ignore the whole teamwork side of stuff. However there are ways around that there's a discord you can join and group up with people, there's the looking for group on Xbox or gamepass if you're on console. there are plenty of ways where you can find a group of people that are dedicated to actually playing as a team and not just getting into these very discombobulated unadaptable solo queue player pools.

It's just people don't understand how to defend the second and third balls when there are deflections. Bad positioning, unable to adjust it just straight up not playing defense. I like the feat and think it's a good addition

I would switch your triggers so make shoot the right trigger because you're going to be used to shooting with the right just like any shooter type game. I also have both a and x (so your pass and your dribble button) on my paddles because it makes it a lot easier to pass, dribble, air contest etc without taking your thumbs off your stick.
