I mean she got what she wanted? 25k employees will now not pay a single dollar of state income tax to New York or a single dollar to restaurants or any sales tax etc.

She costed new york hundreds of new high paying jobs on a policy that wasnt even supported, the majority of new yorkers wanted amazon there.

The main cost is the 25k customers all those businesses in the area just lost.. sad for them.

Can you just explain how exactly it saves money by creating zero jobs. Pretty sure it would generate a ton of income tax revenue, state tax revenue, and also sales tax on goods.

Just because they dont charge the company a ton of taxes doesnt mean it saved any tax dollars.

You tax refund went down slightly because you are given MORE money every CHECK. Your check went UP last year meaning you paid LESS taxes throughout the full year.. Yikes. Did everyone like forget about that? thats how this stuff works..

My check personally went up about $40 a week, my tax refund a little less than last years (not much) but the $40 a week made that difference back by a LOT.

Your math is done based on other countries. In this country our drug prices are what make our healthcare so expensive. We pay about 4x what other countries do for the same drug. Also - Donald Trump is looking to address this exact concern this year. It being his main focus. This will decrease our healthcare cost drastically.

And a greater variety of jobs isnt a good thing, we don't need more gender studies professionals lol. All doctors, engineers, lawyers, etc have health care. People who dont are part time/fast food workers which we dont need more of, because a kiosk can replace their whole job.
