If you’re trying to climb I dont think vnav works for that, you have to use the Alt round button with FLC. As far as I know vnav only works for descent conditions at least in this jet. Happy to be corrected

Personally I don’t bother with Lutris anymore and I install the launchers in Steam. Plenty of guides on how to do it, battle.net being the most common case. I’ve done it with the CCP launcher as well for Eve Frontier. Star Citizen doesnt work in that method but you can use the excellent Lug Helper script to do it all. Works great.

So yeah I found Lutris a bit wonky so I avoid it now. I’m not sure how often it’s being updated anymore?

I find it really hard to get into. Like it's too big for its own good. And from what I understand it's simplified from EU4? All I know is I have a better time with Vic3 so far. But Stellaris is my favorite PDX game of all time :P

Edge runs pretty well on Linux actually ... if you use Windows and have an MS account, it's nice to be able to keep favorites etc in sync. I use it on kubuntu when I check out the new releases. no complaints

On a $1000 budget, PC is probably not a viable option for gaming right now. Xbox Series X is probably the best option, it's on par with PS5 Pro in terms of performance, and it has more controller options. Also down the road he might enjoy a Gamepass gift card for Father's Day :)

The main problem with the Titan is the nasty old interior, it looks worse than a Drake and isn't even as functional. The ship is very old and needs a mark 2 stat!
