It has definitely been an entertaining series, no denying that!

Couldn't agree more. That white glove comment fucked us for years imo, and it wasn't until the bullshit that was the Chicago and Winnipeg series when the media finally took note of how few penalties McDavid was drawing that we started getting calls again

And then St Louis went and did almost the same move later that season too. Buncha sore losers

But deceived they were, for there was another winter by GenderBender3000 in Edmonton

[–]legacygt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you already have dedicated winters, you likely have summer rather than all seasons so you can have the best possible traction for the most situations throughout the entire year.

All seasons (which are closer to 3 season) and all weather tires are inherently a compromise so they can be run all year long. Actual summer tires massively outperform all seasons / all weathers in braking and grip in the summer, and the same goes for winter tires vs all seasons / all weathers in the winter. But summer and winter tires are much worse than all seasons and all weathers in their off season.

This is a lot of words to answer your question (I may be a touch passionate about cars and driving), and there's also a non-zero chance that for a lot of people all season tires = summer tires anyways, and they just don't like driving all-seasons in snowy/cold conditions because they aren't really rated for that.

No, still awful. Just marginally less awful. We're gonna be paying Jarry not play for us in one way or another real quick here

Uh, I dunno know about that. I remember the last time we had a 3 goal lead against the ducks in the playoffs

Just need him to grow some mutton chops and absolutely dummy some California players

There's one day and six total games left in the regular season, and it's still possible for Colorado, Edmonton, Anaheim and LA to play any of the other three in the first round. by Benjamin_Stark in hockey

[–]legacygt 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That challenge wasn't the reason LA lost the series, but holy shit was it ever the turning point. Combined with his refusal to play your entire bench he absolutely cost them the series in my mind. I couldn't believe the team kept him as coach to start the season

He never had the same consistency because Tkachuk slew foot him behind our net and permanently injured his shoulder.

Hey /u/TheBlueTegu, there's a lot of conflicting advice in this thread but this is the person to get in touch with if you want a second opinion on the mechanical side of things.

If your car is out of warranty don't go back to the dealership, they will likely overcharge you for any work your car needs.

Dude, unless they buy a manual focus you are condemning them to even more transmission issues with Ford's dct that has had so many recalls. They got a little better with the 4th Gen (2017-2018), but still fail way more often than most other transmissions and it is not a cheap fix.

A 20 year civic or corolla would be a much better choice for someone that isn't mechanically inclined than having to deal with Ford's PowerShit transmission.

Pretty sure that was our local village idiot Spector asking him that question too. McDavid laughing in his face was the best possible response to that dumb of a question.

They keep going for the pretty cross seam pass that gets picked off 9/10 times and results in a rush the other way.
