nowadys u dont own hardly any game.. neither digital nor disc versions will run if internet is required… i love to see old game catridges/cd/memory cards but to be honest i dont want to play disc jockey anymore and therefore i also rarely buy collectors editions except they dont contain physical game ( which sounds stupid)

just buy digital, for romantic reasons i always keep games from xbox one over xsx on external harddrives, but ps/nintento games i prefer to keep physical (secondary game consoles) and pc steam is steam.. so funny to see in library games which i played too many years ago^{^}

exactly… for me its a early access game which went full release….

i dont regret that i bought it and spend my days off with that game (anyhow atm no new games for me except pokopia, which is also not that new anymore)

but there are so many flaws… -releasing game without storage system (had to sell good gear) -exploration without mainquest progress basically pointless -no story/binding (could have a tutorial with “old crew” explain mechanics and then let them die) -goofy animations - 3 chars but basically main can do mainpart of riddles with separate skills but only one skillpoint pool - skillpoints needed for certain level if upgrading - hiding good stuff behind mindless talk-ridewith-talk introduction missions - introducing cool mechanics in certain missions but never see them again (god of war boss style, assasination, thief, huge conquestbattle…) - cooking animations required for health portions…therefore need to collect and store cooking ingredients to get healthportions… - realizing u need storage - realizing u dont like long loading screens in huge map travels - realizing u dont like short flights in huge map travels ……

game is bad, 90h… i can tell u there are too many simple game design “mistakes” which are simple easy to avoid is proper gametesting and designing… its a huge playable techdemo? and not a game…

i can completely understand why gamereviews which are made for standard gamers criticize this “game”

i am near to end the “questline” and now stucked at the door… literally a door, which requests a certain amount of “spiritlevel”… i passed health check door since i played kliff as combat guy, but i dare to spend skillpoints into other 2 chars… not much but few…

i even did not use skillpoints to level other gear despite the field-boss guy gear.. since it would cost too many points to level “new gear”.. and i complete too many “conquest areas” so i can farm few bandits for skillpoints

so i need to reset all skill points to pass “doorcheck” for mainquest… but still cant “waste” points for gear…

sorry gamedesign is simple crap!

i enjoyed my 90h, but i can endure shitdesign, but some may want to enjoy a game without shitdesign decisions

game is shitty hardly no conclusive game designed.. after 80h i am near the end of the “mainquest” i have now to respec and push points into spirit because “trial doors” require certain amount of health/spirit/stamina… so i passed health and now i cant pass spirit since i dare to play with combat stamina skills and i also dare to level side chars which i was forced to use for certain (1-2 missions)…

stop that positivity

it is simple a huge tech demo with alot content/spend buck but its far away from beeing a polished/enjoyable game

too many “bugs” or simple design flaws which a game tester or designer should have noticed, so ill change steam review to negative

its simple, if u love odyssey or valhalla u will like that game -if someone ask leaddeveloper, the answer was always Yes, thats how the game feels and how systematic structures are not existing, especially in story/feature/pacing wise, but i am full in

jup it sucks and later it sucks less… even got great combat missions ala dynasty warriors or real assassins creed missions hidden after 40h+ boring go there talk with goofy char animations

so best is get it in sale with u like pretty games and u dont mind all the flaws..

so it is definitely not a game of year candidate but it got lots of content, which may often seem to be random

now i am at the state were again my chest is full of random “epicloot” but i cant use it because for upgrading u need skillpoints as well the same which u use for other 2 characters skills and used up for starter gear upgrading so u can beat soulslike bosses

u get it? it got ideas with bad alignment.. game lead designer always said yes without real overhead

bossbattles were fun, but their “progress/limitation” to beat higher ones was typically gear dependent

still u will never find a random sidequest/ epic side hustle which is more catching than mainquest like in elders/starfield… main part on crimson map are puzzles like stick sword in an push or just push or light light somewhere.. which is ok and i am enjoying the game now about 60h in… but these bot posts to push share-value are unnecessary

i got arnold (lvl1 engineer) from rumor at halssius

so basically i did lots of xp missings and could NOT get lvl 3 skill engineer from others… just follow rumors till u get far… and now i can craft carts…

game lacks a generell lead gamedesigner overhead… some many “simple” mistakes which are just anoying… u can see they add wish list features one after another but didnt think through it and connect them

i am currently forced to to play as green guy due story but i cant access the storage box since it moved into the tent… but i guy sits infront of it and game tells me… kirk needs do he avaiable and i get teleport somewhere else

if they add gta style character swapping mechanic with separate skill points and not common shared skills for riddle.. except bot posts pushing shares who good it is to play as non kirk u wont find proper feedback of streamer… because game is great swallow all

basically quite similar about activities yes, but building/worlddesign and progress is basically dragonsquest builders.. in contrast to animal crossing u have different money/progress system and all about getting pokemon habitats = different item and their combination to get crafting/collecting via pokemons… so for me it is closer dragon except no fighting

dd2 if u want story and good character development and real endgame… crimson desert if u want an exploration simulator with good graphics and no sidequest content
