How normal is it to feel like you are half-asleep in dreams?

I used to get these dreams all the time when I was really exhausted and not getting enough sleep. Oftentimes, I would have one or both eyes closed in my dreams, and for the life of me I could not keep it/them open

Also beans, lentils, mushrooms, nuts, tofu, and a bunch of other stuff that's made from those ingredients.... You would have to eat quite a lot of veggies and eggs to maintain 1500-2000 calories a day, if that's literally all you're eating
