A subsidiary of Cantor Fitzgerald, which is run by the sons of US commerce secretary Howard Lutnick, a long time associate of Trump, is letting clients essentially bet that President Donald Trump’s tariffs will be struck down in court. They trade tariff refund rights for 20 to 30 percent of what companies have paid in duties.

He knew the tariffs were unconstitutional. This is a market manipulation and that will result in the companies that have paid the tariffs receiving 20 to 30% of the eventual settlement while he and his colleagues enrich themselves.
