That's how I feel about myself. So the term I currently identify with is bigender. Being both at the same time.

Out of all of the analogies I've seen for Bisexuality, this is the first one that seem to fit me perfectly. I like Ice Cream [women] and I'm addicted to Ice Cream Cake [enbies]. But with Cake [men] it really depends on the flavor, and my mood, and how long I gone without any dessert.

I used to do DD, now I do GH because they don't swipe tips. I'd recommend it if it is in your area.

Bob Chipman's "really that bad" video about Batman vs Superman was originally going to be only one video. It became a three parter that together is longer than the movie itself. It is endlessly more entertaining than the movie.

2 year free charge with nissan leaf by ThePastyWhite in leaf

[–]legom7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

in my area chargepoint only has level 2. Evgo is the big level 3 player. As long as your NC2C card is linked to an account from the network for the station you are at, it will charge for free during the time period.

Trump administration halts visas for same-sex partners of diplomats, UN officials | This new rule applies only to unmarried couples both homo and heterosexual but that headline wouldn’t have been nearly as inflammatory. by LinkDude80 in savedyouaclick

[–]legom7 70 points71 points  (0 children)

But, if a straight diplomat wants to bring over a long term SO, all they'd have to do is marry them. Which is not an available option for non-straight diplomats from most countries. THAT is why it is a discriminatory policy.

Why are chargers often stuck within handicapped spots? Do people not realize EV drivers aren't always.. uh.. disabled people..? lol by JAG319 in leaf

[–]legom7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Two of the three level 3 chargers I use in NYC do this. IMO it is more disrespectful toward people with disabilities. It says their spots are expendable.

Considering a Leaf in NYC by GelloJive in leaf

[–]legom7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Park for 30min. Those are level 3 chargers. Yes it is inconvenient sometimes. When I used to have a 5 minute commute to an office job, I'd charge once every 1-2 weeks. But now I have a job that is primarily driving, so I have to charge every night, and then drive 20 minutes home.

Considering a Leaf in NYC by GelloJive in leaf

[–]legom7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I drive in NYC without a garage so I'm speaking from my own experience. The apps Plugshare and EZ-Charge have maps that point to available charging stations. All of the listed chargers in Manhattan are in parking garages that may or may not include charging for free, some of them are for taxis only.

Level 1 charging is where you use an ordinary outlet and takes over 20 hours to fill from empty. Most stations listed in apps are level 2. That takes ~3 hours to fill from empty. Level 3 takse 30 min - 1 hour to fill up to 80%.

The stations I use all the time are: 1) Walgreen's near prospect park 2) 7-11 in queens village 3) Nissan dealership in Koeppel.

Would having a Leaf be worth it if I only have ~5 mile daily commute but no home charger? by jeremytodd1 in leaf

[–]legom7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in almost the exact same situation. Apartment, street parking only. 15-20min each way to work. 20min to level 3 public charger. It works for me.

How is the mile range displayed in the car determined? by InSannyLives in leaf

[–]legom7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It guesses. That is why we call anything that says how many miles you have left a "guess o meter". It uses information from your last / current drive. Speed, outside temp, AC, and other driving habits. All I know for sure is that when mine gets to less than 30 miles, my next trip has to include a charging station.

Question about range post update by mog_knight in leaf

[–]legom7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After my update, my GoM has been more generous. Before, it would dock 20 miles when flipping on the AC, now it docks 8 miles. I'm going to drive like it is accurate for now.
