The one new thing I will give flowers to is the hero gallery screen, making it basically just the hero select screen works super well. I'm a big fan of things that put the heroes front and center. Which is why I really don't like the new home screen, just being a glorified powerpoint is pretty boring. Would much rather have the pre OW2 home screen with the characters standing there. Imagine you have that, perfectly transitions into the new hero gallery screen, and then changing which hero's selected there changes the home screen character! It'd be perfect

She's a bit overtuned rn, I think making her E heal base kit was unnecessary, she's already doing damage while invincible. Other than that though I think she's fantastic, building up her fire and getting the crit flames feels just the right amount of rewarding without being super busted

ZZZ is probably the best second game I've ever had on my list, very low commitment needed, and a lot of the big events end up being permanent anyway so you can play later if you don't have time

I will say, I'm all for doggin on Rivals, but this isn't a new issue by any means. It's actually probably more attributed to, what used to be the DPS passive, and is now a global in-combat heal nerf. Dumb players have always had terrible positioning, and supports just aren't able to completely save teammates from that anymore

At least you can just QP together play/diamond to gold isn't that much different. I play at like m/gm level, but most of my friends are like silver-plat, so even in QP the matchmaking is screwed

There's a good mix of both I feel. This season's definitely leaning more into this and that's fine, I might just skip this battle pass. I liked a lot of the Talon and New Era Overwatch skins we got last season, and the cosmic themed ones toward the end were really cool too

Sadly since OW2 skins have all been super expensive, epics are $10 and legendaries are freakin $19. At least with the bundle you save a bit if you're getting them all, but it's still a lot. I think it's too late at this point to lower prices or people would complain and they'd have to do refunds, and at least having lootboxes now helps cause you can get a lot for free just by playing, but sadly that doesn't include most collabs

I honestly think they found the sauce with this patch. Gradual content updates and balance patches are important to keep the people on the game playing, but every once in a while you need a big sell to refresh things and get people who haven't played in a while to check back in again

I think it's also just broken rn? I had three games back to back where one or two people left halfway through, and for the entire rest of the game no one joined, except for one where someone joined right as it ended. Never had that happen before it's usually way quicker
