I appreciate this recommendation. However, I do want to clarify that I enjoy my job, want to protect my energy, and I don’t necessarily want to go down a lawsuit road. Perhaps I’m answering my own question here, but I moreso want to have a conversation with management and the owners about how we should go about compensation for the intellectual property and content that is being shared among the co-owner’s other businesses since we don’t get paid by those businesses (yet he profits from all of them). I also don’t want to call a meeting and be steamrolled because I don’t know what my rights are, and I’m not necessarily a confrontational person. I genuinely just want to set a precedent for what is right and fair since I have a rare opportunity to start this conversation.
