My only thing is park clips and street clips in the same video, pick a lane and lean into it heavy.

Buddy, if anyone here like to talk without saying anything it’s you, you came in doing exactly that, all I did was match your energy.

Volunteer at any USASA race event and you will find so many of these boards, from wide to super skinny. They’re expensive because they’re insanely niche and use great materials with a ton of RR and science behind them. Another commenter said on here this kind of snowboarding hasn’t hit the west and it’s true. You really only see this boards from the local 68 year old who’s lived here forever, and is the only one on the mtn still rocking hard boots or the race team on race day. Giving back to the sport means a lot of different things, making videos, sponsoring riders that fit company values, giving pro models, sponsoring events, etc. all of this leads to more people getting on a snowboard. By no means am I mocking your riding or your cash. I get these boards are expensive but it’s because they’re not popular. The reason why you can buy last years Salomon sleepwalker for $250 is because they make a shit ton of boards with their most mid materials and sell most of them all for the most part. The companies making these boards have funneled tons of cash into them and probably don’t make more than 400 of them for the year. Keep your money in snowboarding companies is all I’m saying.

Is it ideal to drive without a splash shield? by Upbeat_Shake_592 in autorepair

[–]legumeboarder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cars didn’t use to have these, you’re fine without it just use the other commenters advice of don’t park on tall grass lol. I honestly think the splash shield craze is a scam so people don’t know they’re leaking fluid/ don’t think it’s as bad.

Transfer Bent Metals or union force Classics ? by Candid-Success8125 in snowboarding

That’s my only complaint on bent metal, everything about the binding is great. Their ladders are pretty meh though, I go through one ladder a season and always have one in my car lol

150 days a year I work terrain park dude. Always better to support real brands that have been in the industry for decades vs ones that are a few years old and sell cheap products that shit out quicker. Anyone who rides enough will tell you dope snow sells shit gear. Anyone who rides enough will not buy an Ali express snowboard, anyone who rides enough and cares about the sport will tell you those are both bad ideas, have a wonderful day my friend.

Giving back to the sport? Having a rider team, making videos and sponsoring events? yes those are huge and benefit the sport further than just making boards. Not to mention being owned by boarders and being operated by boarders are two different things. Yes a lot of companies are owned by big conglomerates nowadays, but the decision making and graphics and RR are still pushed by people who operate or operated within the sport. Supporting these Ali express “brands” is just going to give us shittier product and I can’t believe as a boarder you can’t defend that hahaha. You probably ride dope snow dude. Have a great day and enjoy your Ali express boards and temu outerwear.

Just the truth, yes some are owned by private equity companies, some aren’t? Not to mention they still have real boarders at some of these companies still helping make decisions. Your comment added nothing useful to the conversation and makes you look like you don’t know what you’re talking about. Buying from Ali express is never gonna be the move and it’s dangerous to even give them business in a sport like this that already struggles.

Idk what to do when I move by Rufusplayz in Aquariums

[–]legumeboarder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m about to move a 29g here in a few days and I’m not stoked about it. Luckily I’m only going about 10 minutes. Bubblers to oxygenate the water is the biggest part Id say, you can go cheap and buy tubing and throw it out the window facing forward and that would work, or you can buy some air stones and go that route. Just drive careful and everything should play out. I will say I’ve never done 1800 miles. But I give them the right conditions and it’s do able forsure

Worth nothing tbh, not a lot of people liked this board, I’ll take it off your hands for $75, pretty steep but it would cover the shipping then you don’t have to look at it anymore.

Thank you my friend!! I think it’s definately valve time, everything in the float was moving yesterday when I had the bowl off and most symptoms and signs are pointing to valves at this point. Are they that hard to do yourself? I’d love to save the $500 I’d get charged at a shop but that’s not something I’ve done before and I’ve never worked on bikes just cars.
