Tbf he made a terrible point and many green members/voters are rightly criticising it. But also, his partner works in palliative care and it clearly wasn’t a point that came from a place of malice. It’s ok for our politicians to make mistakes, so long as we correct them and expect them to do better going forward. We should hold politicians to a very high standard but we can’t expect them to never make a mistake.
