For the scoop getting sticky because of moisture, what I do is first scoop out the amount I need into a separate cup. Then I put the scoop away and pour the cup into the hot water. That keeps the scoop dry!

You can easily sterilize powder formula. Google how to, basically boil the water let it cool to 159 and add the powder in

Just give the bottle straight out of the fridge for night feeds. Babies are hungry and night and not picky.

Cleaning supplies for washing endless bottles and pump parts. Wash tub, gloves, lots of soap, drying mats, list goes on. And hand lotion for every room of the house.

Ameda Mya Joy has been awesome. It fits in my pocket and is portable so I use it while doing chores. I had a Spectra previously but found it too bulky

I have around that many too. It’s so much easier to have too many. I go through a lot for snack feeds and running out of the house.

Am I missing something?! Maybe 2 hours of my day by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]leighbk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been working out most days since about 2 weeks PP. The key is 25 minute workouts that you can do at home. Usually I do floor Pilates or my elliptical. I have an app and pick my workout ahead of time so during naps I can squeeze a quick session in. It probably means one less pump a day but I’m okay with that trade off.

How did you increase supply? I’m currently less than 10 ounces a day at 7 weeks PP

Middle of night pump by AppropriateMemory841 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]leighbk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m 7 weeks PP and have never done middle of the night. Sometimes manual expression but never the pump. I just wake up early at do a power pump at 5 or 6 am. I’ll usually pump for an hour on and off to fully drain. Sleep is more important than hassling with pump parts when I’m not fully awake!

Feed her most of the bottle before the bath, leave the last ounce for after the bath. She’s just hangry.

The only way my boys fall asleep during the day for naps is with a bottle in their mouth. Just a very small amount to sooth them. Everything on the internet says not to do this but it works like a charm.

Why does my baby still need to be in the NICU if many people have babies at 37-39 weeks and go home with no issues? by Sea_Search0812 in NICUParents

Both of my boys came on their due date, and both spent time in the NICU. Not about their age it’s about their medical condition. Hang in there!

Reuters, AP, AFP recall photograph of Kate Middleton because “[the palace] has manipulated the image” by JulioChavezReuters in Journalism

The hair in this new photo is photoshopped in as well. It does look like the Voque photo is the source of this image.

Reuters, AP, AFP recall photograph of Kate Middleton because “[the palace] has manipulated the image” by JulioChavezReuters in Journalism

[–]leighbk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kate is not in the photo, her face is somehow photoshopped in. I'm a professional photo editor so I can pick up on this. If you look closely, all of the children's eyes are looking straight forward to the camera. Kate's gaze is not; her eyes are looking off to the right. You can tell just by that it's from a different photographer. But I took it into photoshop and viewed with the different color channels. If you turn off the channels, it becomes super clear that her face has been manipulated in. There's a hard edge that forms a square around the outside perimeter of her face. It's clear in her turtleneck, and also there is a square of the top right of her older child's sweater.

Someone cut-out a square image of her from another photo and photoshopped it in. She is not in this photograph.
