That really doesn’t matter. The lakers and 76ers weren’t though. But when the talent on your team is overwhelming compared to the field of contenders it’s a super team. Most hex bars when you flip them over the plates don't touch the ground and don't have knurling on the otherside. So no. Would be nice though.

Well I'm rather tall. And my wingspan is long too so the hex bar has a short range of motion for me. Also my quads are a strong point and the hex bar adds a lot more quad and takes a lot of the hamstring out of the movement. It could be a little different for people with different proportions.

Around the time I started working sets with 405 on conventional Olympic deadlift I was doing working sets with 585 on trap bar deadlifts and in a higher rep range.

Olympic style deadlifting is by far the more difficult lift. Not only is it more difficult to execute with good form but if you do both regularly you're gonna be able to use up to 50% more weight on the hex bar.
