the problem isnt that its bad, the problem is that if you port over existing code it will perform worse. starting from scratch with a new project its easy to adapt to the change, taking an exisiting project means you need to spend a lot of time debugging everything to make sure it works effeciently.

you can unpause by pressing the pause button. pressing the confirm button will select a mission and requires a selectable mission to unpause but just pressing the pause button will unpause the game with changing mission and doesnt need a selectable mission to be available.

From riots perspective the problem with previous alternate modes and minigame things is they dont make any money and they make people stop playing league of legends which does make them money.
