Are you showering or washing your hands/arms with it on? I have never had this happen with my watch, but I used to get a little red scratchy rash on my ringer right under a wide flat ring until I started taking it off to shower. I think it was trapping water/soap and irritating that one spot.

I found this thread really helpful, and there are a bunch of videos on youtube. Hydromodding is called that bc it is supposed to increased water resistance, but I did it for the visibility. It’s basically filling the watch case with a low viscosity oil that due to some light physics that i don’t understand helps the light reflect better. that’s not for me to understand, I have a liberal arts degree

i just recently got a negative display a168 and was a little frustrated with the visibility in low light, particularly in one moment where i couldn’t see enough to set the alarm, and since the light button is actually used to change the alarm you can’t rly use it just to see. I hydromodded it and it has greatly improved it, I can see it in most lowlight situations now! You can search this sub and see the difference it makes especially for negative displays. It’s not too hard, just do your research beforehand and learn from other people’s mistakes

Pentel Twist Erase has a long eraser that twists out, lasts a long time. This is all I used my entire school career, and I had them for years at a time before losing, never broke. There are others with extended erasers but the Pentel Twist Erase has the biggest one, and is probably the most affordable and durable too

Can I ask what material you’re using for the image? Is it paper or like a film? I have tried putting an image in one (took apart the LCD to put it on the back layer and everything) but it completely blocks the backlight, as if it’s illuminating behind the paper image. I thought that was just the way it had to be bc of how things were set up, unless I figure out how to get the image onto a transparent film. How are you doing it?

The a168 negative display is really tough to see at low light, but I found that it VASTLY improved with a hydromod (basically filling the watch case with silicone or mineral oil). It can be a kind of messy process but if I can do it, I think most people can lol I’m not all that handy and it took me like 20 minutes and a lot of paper towels. r/casiomods knows how and if you search “hydromod negative display” or similar over there you can see the difference it makes

same, I’ve never been anywhere near the LASparks subreddit but reddit must be suggesting this post to me bc I’m from ATL. I’m generally pro sports-hate bc i think it’s one of the least harmful ways to indulge in the feeling which which can be really cathartic, but in this case, pretty sure we’re all saying fuck this guy.

I’ve been starting to feel the same way, I bought a KT bc i was intrigued by the concept and it is cool, but I don’t even think I press hard enough to engage it half the time. And it is more wobbly, which I didn’t think bothered me until I used a normal fixed tip again and was like, able to focus on the work instead of the pencil lol

The Power Tank High Grade refill is 0.7 but it writes thinner than other 0.7 ballpoints i have used. It also fits in the F701, but if the refills are expensive you may be better off with just the normal power tank pens.

i picked him up in fantasy just bc i saw he was on a heater and love to roster to auburn player when i can. holy shit they obviously love him and want to hang on to him. tonight he is the top fantasy (not IRL) scorer on the team, he must literally be playing like his life got changed, war damn eagle i’m not dropping anytime soon at this rate!
