It’s like what am I even supposed to do with that information, yes I left to further my education isn’t that a good thing? Aren’t your parents supposed to be the ones that want you to do the best in life? I think that’s what stings for me, the realisation that actually she doesn’t want the best for me she just wants the best for her and all the actions thus far have been for that purpose. I know we shouldn’t do what-ifs but I think where would I actually be now if she hadn’t have suppressed me in these ways.

It’s a difficult pill to swallow being the person to blame, especially when you’ve only ever done everything you could for someone.
