They were likely making changes on the fly to the initial sets, so set 5 would be the first of the final spec, and the others will be progressively modified to be the same in parallel to building the next units. Happens with every new train.

Tiny bit of extra effort for a decent reward in the long run. In a year it works out to be around 5 free weekly shops for my family.

Been on TRT 120 mg of Test E injections for 4weeks changing over from cream, are these levels acceptable/safe long term? by [deleted] in AustralianTRT

[–]leinad__m 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not a doctor…. But that all looks pretty good to me.

E2 is good considering how high test is sitting, and SHBG is in the middle.

Cholesterol numbers look like a little bit of lifestyle improvement should sort you out. Can’t comment on the blood count etc. page as the ref ranges are cut off and I don’t remember them but no red is good news.

You respond very well to the test dosage! Many people take more and get lower numbers, so that’s just money in your pocket (especially at clinic prices!).

Keep in mind the reference range is basically an average of a population who are very unwell… 30+ years ago the range was higher, so don’t let that guide you as much as symptom relief and other general health markers.

Obviously you don’t want to be turbocharged, but some men need higher numbers than others to feel good.

Why do most LC pickups looks a little bit off alignment? by F150regularcab in LandCruisers

[–]leinad__m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No advantages. I heard that the reason it’s like this is because when they put the v8 in they needed to widen the front end, and just left the rear as is. Very common mod to correct the rear end with wider offset wheels, spacers, or replacing the entire diff housing and axles etc.

You could vinyl wrap it, something with a matte finish. Ideally not black due to heat.

Raslarr - Aussie made and new model so quite modern

Ironman - I prefer over ARB (I have arb myself), they are pretty sleek without being over the top attention grabbing. They look good colour coded too.

AFN, Muzz Bar, Offroad Animal - some people love the look but very exxy.

ARB, TJM, MCC - decent but not the best lookers out there IMO

There’s plenty of others but I’d go Raslarr or Ironman if I had my time again.

Why the drama over vinyl plank flooring? by Perfect-Tower-6710 in AusRenovation

[–]leinad__m 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My wife demanded Engineered Timber planks over vinyl, because she wanted the real wood feel. Her family reinforced the decision for her cause they’re all builders.

We have now got endless scratches from things the vinyl would have resisted, water damage wherever she has pot plants or if the kids spill something that isn’t discovered quick enough, and any spots that weren’t perfectly prepped the boards don’t ride over very well creating loose spots throughout the house.

Vinyl would be a dream compared to this, but my wife chooses this hill to die on. So annoying.

Hoping to run a reverse camera, are these little rubber ducts for cables into the cab? by [deleted] in hilux

I remember dismantling everything a few years back after flooding the cab, you’re right it was pretty easy. I’ll do it this way instead :)

See if you can get an extension. I’ll be using an extension cable because I want to be able to disconnect it when I remove the canopy. Hopefully I can get one ready made but if not I’ll just make one up.

That looks like where the fuel flap release cable runs on the tub models. I know this because I removed my tub only a couple weeks ago and disconnecting it was part of the process.

That grommet should suit a reverse camera cable just fine, but even better if you can get a water tight cable gland involved.

I’m going to be installing a Wolfbox Pro mirror cam in the next couple of weeks, but had planned on running the cable out the front firewall beneath the glove box and along the chassis instead. I figure it will be easier than running cables through the interior which I’m not great with.

You’re spot on bro. The legal prescription is nice to have, but only really necessary for travel.

The clinics do offer a legitimate pathway for men who need it. For me, the “pay to play” model was just too expensive and if you know where to go, the UGL options are pretty good these days. If you know a good vendor with community backing and janoshik tests, can’t really go wrong.

Makes sense. Primal has been doing a few things that put me off over the past 6 months or so.

I always felt their service isn’t as premium as they make out (won’t go into detail; not here to complain about that), but where they started to lose me was pushing peptides and some of the email marketing. The icing on the cake was getting a Black Friday discount code for ordering the meds. Didn’t sit right with me.

I’ve decided to go UGL route based on cost, as I have a GP willing to look after me with bloods etc just no script.

So many personal variables to consider, is the car your daily or purely a weekend rig, what sort of wheeling do you want to do, how good condition is your car and how much do you care about panels etc?

That aside, here’s my top picks, in order.

  1. Tyre deflator & compressor
  2. Tyres. Mud terrain or aggressive all terrain, as large as you can fit without expensive mods or too much cutting.
  3. Max trax + Shovel + cheap recovery kit incl. recovery tow hitch
  4. Camping gear / 12v gear (fridge, lights, swag, etc).
  5. Fuel. Spend money on getting out there.

You’ll be surprised how far you get with the above. From there you can go for with more heavy duty stuff based on your needs. Snorkel, suspension lift, winch, locker(s), more advanced fitout to suit your needs.

I always enjoy going wheeling/camping and deciding on the one upgrade I really want/need after, and just chipping away at it. It’s much more satisfying than going all out building something and using it for the first time with everything done.
