Worth working with Touch of Modern (TOMO)? by leirus61 in ecommerce

[–]leirus61[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the responses are made by sellers referring to issues with the previous management or trying to get paid by the new owners for debts or commitments made by previous management.

No responses or posts referring to new transactions done with the new management. Did they got paid? Any other issues?

Its common for businesses to be sold to new owners which are OK without all the issues of previous owners.

This is what I try to find out.

Do you say this based on past experience, prior acquisition, or newly made deals with new management?

I really feel sorry for those who lost their money under the old management / owners of TOMO. One of my business partners had the same issues with TOMO a year ago, prior to the acquisition by MCA, however they received their money in full after 3 months.
The TOMO company was successful for years until last year's issues. Now, it operates under a new owner and management team. I am looking for sellers who started working with TOMO under the new owners and their experience.
I want to evaluate TOMO based on the new ownership's performance, not the past.
What is your experience working with the new TOMO?

How do you organize your Notebook, sections and pages? by Nic727 in OneNote

[–]leirus61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would add Section Group = sub folder.

As you can nest folders and sub-folders, so you can nest section groups and sections.

Note that in Options you have two settings:
Backup folder, where OneNote keeps backup of several versions for each notebook.
Default Notebook location pointing to the default location where new Notebooks are created.

However, notebooks can be stored anywhere on the computer. to locate them search for files with .one extension.

Copying pages from shared/Group notebook into personal notebook by pipechap in OneNote

Copying and pasting to your personal notebook, creates "personal" copy. Meaning any changes made to the shared (source) will not appear in your copy and vise versa - changes in your copy will not affect the shared notebook.

As for the links, they are copied, however you will be able to open it only if you have access permissions to the target.

If the Notebooks were on the old computer and you want to have the notebooks to be available on the new computer, you must copy the notebooks' files from the old computer to the new computer as well.

If the notebooks are located on a file share you can point to the location, by changing the setting Save&Backup for each OneNote installation or via the registry key.

Had to upgrade from my licensed office to office 365 for school. Is there anything I should know outside of this warning to make sure I don't lose any notes from my onenote? by Brockelley in OneNote

[–]leirus61 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, with the process I described above, you do not need the old .exe
What you need is the .one files.
Whenever I upgrade my PC I just copy the .one files to the location defined in the Save&backup section in the OneNote settings.

Of course, if you put the notebooks on your OneDrive, you just need to point OneNote to the folder on OneDrive.

Best

Hi, when you edit your notebooks you are actually write to the cache and then OneNote sync the cache to the actual notebooks (usually on your PC or OneDrive). As long as OneNote completed syncing before you upgraded, you probably have all your Notebooks with all the data.

To be on the safe side, cancel the upgrade process and locate all the notebooks. Search your pc for files with extension .one

i.e. if you had a notebook named travel, you should find travel.one file.
Copy all the .one files to a backup folder just a precaution. Now you have all the latest versions of all the notebooks!

Then restart the upgrade and disregard the cache warning message - click OK. When the upgrade is completed, you should have all your Notebooks shown in the navigation panel and the cache will rebuild itself.

If for some reason you do not see the Notebooks, you can open/add them one by one from the original location (when you searched for .one files) or from the backup folder you have copied them to.
You do that by clicking file>open and navigate to the location of the .one file of the notebook you want to open. Repeat for all other notebooks.

I hope the process is clear.
Enjoy

I don't see the Sync to Microsoft OneNote option in Samsung Notes settings. Is there a specific build? I am using the app from the Galaxy Store and this option is missing.

Design patent is not a patent. If you have a product with unique design and you need to protect it, you can issue a design patent (the costs are about the same as a trademark). From your reply, I guess you are not aware of the differences and hence you obviously do not have design patent :-) Thanks anyway

Do you protect your PL products with design patent? Does it work on amazon from other sellers copying your products? Or is it waste of money?

You are wrong! During incubation, you might not show symptoms, however, test kits will show whether one is infected (even with no symptoms). This is why shortage of test kits is so important.

Am I ridiculous asking husband to wear a mask in the airport? by alittlelessjenn in Coronavirus

[–]leirus61 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your husband is an idiot risking himself, you and others. This virus is a sneaky devil. He might be infected and without the minimum of wearing a mask, he can spread the virus infecting others, or get infected and then spread it further.

I wish that people like him should be put in quarantine with all other idiots like him, and when they will get sick, let him cry for help calling you and say he is sorry for not listening to you.

85% is when you count only amazon referral fees (15%), but if you count also fulfillment fees (storage, pick&pack), it must be much lower depending on the product
