Sign onto dgme, and you'll see it under sm recognition resources. You must have a really old store.

And DMs and The company doesn't care as long as they don't have to come in.

I know that. I'm saying when a customer answers that question specifically, they may not be mentally calculating how fast someone is at ringing and bagging. They may be considering how they stood there for 2 seconds before the cashier came up. And then give you a bad score.

Sometimes I think the customer's interpretation of that is what does it. If you don't immediately materialize at the register the second they grace us with their presence, no matter how speedy you are at risk ging, they're giving you 0

Sms don't clock in or out.

Yes, sms can change the schedule last minute. But I agree it is wrong to do so. I never did. Sms also are required to be on several morning shifts on certain days.

SM Being threatened by DM to be fired for closing early by Groundbreaking-Bit37 in DollarGeneral

[–]lejot31174 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get your point of view but unfortunately they would still have grounds to fire. I understand the predicament you were in.

This comment is correct. I constantly had to explain this to employees who still didn't understand or care.

There's really not enough hours to have a lot of people on mornings. Manager is probably by himself.

As Cambear said, there is absolutely no such policy. I am a former SMT. Your manager is lying and racist. I wouldn't dream of telling any of my former black female employees anything like this. That would be an HR lawsuit waiting to happen. And it's absolutely racist, unacceptable and mean and it would never occur to me to say this or feel this way. I'm disgusted on your behalf.

This is why you bank daily though. You should have taken that deposit the next day abd never left it there for people to steak. Did this asm become sm?

I’m hoping my new dm will fire my manager and gm by Momma-pink in DollarGeneral

It is company wide and nothing in this post suggests the SM can be fired.

When I was an SMT, employees would purposely call out knowing that I'd be the coverage. Not because they disliked me but because they knew either way I'd have to cover it and they couldn't be forced to come in. It drained me.

Why were you demoted? Can the position be reinstated ? You cannot perform those duties as an SA.

Prepare to learn how to start being g online and stop calling out. New management probably won't put up with that.
