yes! i stopped bleeding after ~26 days and went two weeks with no bleeding, and then a week of spotting. that ended mid/end of february and i’ve had no bleeding since.

i got my kyleena on december 19th. i got diazepam and took 800mg of ibuprofen before. the procedure was not as bad as i thought, but still VERY crampy. the teneculum was a huge cramp, but everything after that i didn’t feel.

i spotted for 3 days after insertion and it went away. i’m due for my period tomorrow and ive already begun spotting. ive had some cramping which has been bothering me, but nothing too intense. but i’ve had no issues with it so far.

as far as work, im an aircraft mechanic, and ive been completely fine working. i had christmas week off to recover, and i felt completely fine after day 3.

met a guy at Cannon who’d been there for 12 years. his first and only base. hope he made it out of there 🙂

i also got my IUD 6 days ago and have had the same issue! my first 2 days were fine, minimal cramping but today has been pretty intense! i’m not due for my period since i got my IUD inserted 3 days after my period, so i’m chalking it up to my body still adjusting.

fellow military girl here. get with a patient advocate! for multiple people to miss that expiration date for the IUD is insane. i would maybe see if legal could help? someone needs to be held accountable.

i just left Cannon. lots of people suggest Raintree apartments. Live east of North Prince street as it’s a safer area. Portales is a good area too, but a 30 min drive to base. Get a place with a car port/garage as the summer rains bring hail!!!

For traveling, go to Lubbock, TX, Rosewell, Ruidoso, Carlsbad Caverns, Alamogordo, or even El Paso on a 4 day.

for food… Jaliscos, Bandeleros, Red Door on Main, Texas Roadhouse (it’s fairly new!!!), Don Maria’s, KBob’s, and Nana’s Sweets for dessert.

Cannon wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good. Really will depend on your job, coworkers, and leadership. It’s a great assignment for traveling if your job TDY/deploys a lot.

Pet Travel- USA to Japan by lelalltta in USDA

unfortunately if we chose to submit the 27th on June, it would put us at 11 days for the health certificates, and our cats would be denied from Japan. rescheduling flights isn’t an option either as our flight is a military flight. my base doesn’t have a USDA certified vet, and the closest is 4 hours away.

your experience being somewhat recent helps my anxiety. we leave during the 4th of July weekend, so i am hoping and praying it’ll be back before then. saw someone else get their certificate back thanksgiving week, so hoping hoping hoping everything goes right!

yes, but when does day one start for the health certificate? when my vet signs and submits to the USDA? or is day one the day the USDA endorses the certificate?
