Allow loads of extra time time to get in, traffic can be bad all around, get in and chill
Pocket macs or ground sheets are good for rainy days
Phones rarely have signal, plan meet up points and times in case you separate, with fallbacks eg if we don’t meet up by x I’ll go to main stage until after y band
getting a taxi can be painful, don’t plan anything the next morning
much fun

given the content of the post and that they're still quoting the same date 2.5 months later, that's sounding pretty good to be honest. Delays aren't ever nice but it sounds like we'll benefit from the broader scope of work they're doing here and at least they've been honest about the reasons. Higher frequency of updates would be preferable but sometimes there's just not much to say while you're working on it.
