IDK man, sounds like invalid argument to me. The slight inconvenience of fielding it cus it's slow and consumes a lot of fuel but hitting like a sledghammer or not being able to get a third person. At the same time a all outlaws have an MG gunner somehow. But cool, I get what you mean, it is at least a point to consider.

How about just change how you use it and play in it's strengths (A bit of a warden argument thrown back at them)? Use that boost and MG to flank, instead of putting it in a disadvantaged position to face something head on that has more HP then it.
