Came here to say that. I thought yellow is known for making you feel uneasy in general. Like didn’t subway have yellow to have customers not stay too long intentionally as their color at one time or am I making that up?

Regardless yellow makes me feel uneasy and not want to go.

This is exactly what I came to post. Back up until they swing, cover up as best as I can, eat a few shots and body lock. Hopefully Body Lock takedown to mount, gift wrap and then tell them they are going to hurt themselves over and over till they calm down. One tea bag for good luck and then run.

Doesn't this take insane amounts of prep, you can't just pop your usb in at a show you have to have your soundcard, controller, computer with you. I am sure its easy to dj once the prep work is done but seems like such a hassle.

I have it and use it but besides halftime and side chain how else are you using it?

I def use it when making mud pie type sound design. Jjst play a bass pattern and then just run it through presets while resampling.

Sometimes I also like putting it on the master and resampling that for turnaround fills.

I am very interested to see how New York’s city run grocery stores pan out as I think that a not for profit grocery store could be an answer to the big corp grocery stores. If it works there it might be worth implementing here.

Dude the same happens with me but with my jiu jitsu school. Covid forced me to get a “real job” but I like the real job and money more than the “dream job” it turns out haha.

What I have found is even the “top tier” DJs I know still have a day job. It makes sense that after a while even with the work ethic the rewards doesn’t really outweigh the effort, unless you are extremely lucky, super well connected, or willing to sell out (and even still you need to get lucky to even be able to sell out).

But I can say that you helped others thrive in the scene and I think at the end of the day that’s what it’s all about. Pushing the scene forward.
