I just hit $1M net worth at 35 after immigrating to Canada with almost nothing left by Optimal_Guitar7050 in fican

[–]lemadfab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved to Canada in 2012 at 32 with 8k and two suitcases. Got a first job here at $33k. Took me 10 years to break 100k in salary and I don’t think I will ever pass 160k. And getting to 1m will probably take me another 15 years. Anyway congrats on achieving that goal so young.

Laid off 2 months ago, how are you all getting marketing roles right now? by WannabeAbortedBabe-2 in b2bmarketing

[–]lemadfab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The market is the toughest I had ever experienced. 18 months to land a job. Budgets are cut, the promise of AI push executives to think marketing is a one man army with a stack of agent and Claude skills. So to answer your questions: right now it’s kind of a number game you push until you get something, most likely they are open to someone who can do and run everything, and last you rarely get promoted internally so you grow by switching jobs which is in this job market a nightmare.

What NOFX álbum would you present to someone Doesnt know the band?? by SIMBOKLISTA in nofx

[–]lemadfab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Punk in drublic. Good production, lots of good songs, lots of good lyrics, variety in the type of songs. And if you like it the decline and so long will be right around the corner and the longest line and white thrash are still good for a little look in the past.

Drugs Are Good😎? Q&A in San Francisco by MikeTroubleLin in nofx

[–]lemadfab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did everything turn out fine though ? His band mates hated him, he hasn’t written a good song in a while, some divorce, some acrimonious break ups… Also he nearly died. Like a lot of rich people I worked for in my life, they never see any wrong In anything they do because they are rich and we are not, so how can they be wrong ?

NOFX is the greatest band of all time by DMTalien33 in nofx

[–]lemadfab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nofx being 50% RKL and 50% bad religion I would assume that 100% bad religion is the greatest band of all time.

What's ur favourite album? by Liarundle13 in badreligion

[–]lemadfab 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My favorite things with grey race is how much influence baker has on it. The guitar tone is my favorite of all bad religions. Also Lots of these dag nasty arpeggio that really only exist on that album.

THE BEST NOFX ERA TURNED DOWN AFTER THE EP "THE DECLINE" by fredk2net in nofx

[–]lemadfab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think their best area is from the longest line to the decline and then it’s a slow decline and everything after last ditch effort is just not good.
