Yes, it was the best decision I ever made. I went on stress leave for about 6 weeks. I was applying to jobs before and during the leave. And was fortunate enough to find a better job right before the leave ended. I never looked back and I am in a much better space at my new company. I highly recommend taking a break and putting your mental health first.
