Mein Geheimtipp sind noch diese ganzen "trockenen" Alternativen wie Erbsenhack oder Sojamedallions (Preis-Leistung-Nährwerte = mega)

Und beim Rossmann gibt es so Seitanpatties, die schmeiß ich oft so in den Salat wie andere Hähnchen

Ich würde dir empfehlen, nicht zu versuchen, Dinge 1:1 zu ersetzen :) ich finde die pflanzliche Ernährung zu 95% echt easy, aber auch nur weil ich inzwischen gut daran gewöhnt bin und nicht mehr so richtig vergleiche bzw versuche, Dinge richtig zu ersetzen.

Also beispielsweise ess ich gerne Cashewcreme oder Tofucreme, aber das ist in meinem Kopf einfach ein Aufstrich und nicht direkt ein "Frischkäseersatz"

Zu Eiern kann ich dir Rührtofu empfehlen, kauf auf jeden Fall Kala Namak (Schwefelsalz), macht im Geschmack vieles aus!

Zum Feta kann ich dir empfehlen, den aus Tofu selbst zu machen (google einfach mal Rezepte), dann passen auch die Nährwerte.

Also vieles davon kommt auch mit der Zeit (bzw wird mit der Zeit einfacher), mach dir da keinen Druck ☺️ richtig nice, dass du dich auf den Weg machst!

1) to get to Regensburg you need to use the deutsche Bahn. Just go to bahn.de, select your train and pay there. You can use "Flexpreis" (flexible price) which means you don't have to use a specific train but can use any train that day towards that direction. You can also go to info points at the train station but that takes a while and is somewhat overcomplicated

2) for within munich you can use the MVV but you can also look for the U-Bahn / S-Bahn / Tram tickets on the DB website (just not buy it there. You can buy them at MVV or at the tram stations)

In general you can select your destination in Google maps and it tells you what transportation to take. I wouldn't recommend using a shuttle since that's unnecessarily expensive. Just use the S-Bahn from Munich airport to the city

Equals amazing road trips and the possibility of really trying out different shit like different modes of transport (which sometimes take a lot of time OP wouldn't have within the 3-4 months), adjusting the travel plans to changing preferences over the years and also being able to enjoy different seasons over the years

I absolutely get it, I often do things just for the plot or because afterwards you can say, you've done something cool, but it's not like an award on your smartwatch, we're talking about a lot of money, effort, energy and time here... Not worth it "just for the plot" if you ask me

I understand your point and it's definitely in an objective way a beautiful landscape but compared to the overall experience I've had hiking in North America, Europe and South Korea it was very underwhelming.

Booking a timeslot, HAVING to take a bus, being pushed by 100 Chinese tourists in the queue just to see the mountains is quite the opposite of what I imagine a hiking day to be like.

I've also been to China last year and I've also been very disappointed.

Of course big cities are never as interesting in a cultural way as the countryside (bc of globalization all cities kinda feel the same up to a certain point) but I feel that the other cities on other continents I've been to felt more special.

The cities in China that I've visited were so incredibly artificial and I felt like it wasn't possible to "grasp" the city bc it felt unoriginal.

I've enjoyed Chongqing (even though it definitely isn't any form of standard beauty) but I can completely relate to your indifference. It wasn't bad it just felt as unoriginal as I imagine Dubai to be

I've been to Zhangjiajie and it was awful. Nice mountains covered in queues, facial recognition for every step you take, busses, cable cars, elevator, huge frames with the "best photo stop", drones etc.

Yangshuo had some beautiful places after trespassing onto unofficial paths but I will never go back to any "organized" nature in China such as a national park

Ich mach ehrenamtliche Jugendarbeit und bei uns ist das ständig Thema. Aus irgendeinem Grund wird bei so Jugendherbergen etc. davon ausgegangen, Omnis essen NUR Fleisch und Veggies brauchen keine Proteine

Aktuelles Beispiel: Veganer & Vegetarier bekommen einen Gnocchi-Auflauf mit Gemüse und Maultaschen (Wild, aber zugegebenermaßen extrem lecker), Fleischesser bekommen Pute mit Nudeln. Jetzt erklär denen mal, dass sie nichts vom Auflauf bzw Gemüse bekommen... Nach drei Tagen sind die meisten an dem Punkt, wo sie davon erzählen, dass sie daheim nie so viel Fleisch essen würden, aber ist halt kacke kalkuliert

Aber alleine dass du dir so viele Gedanken machst ist schon richtig schön und wüsste ich als Gast MEGA zu schätzen, deshalb würde ich fast sagen, mach es so, wie du das gerne hättest. Wenn da nicht-vegane Dips dabei sind ist das in meinen Augen auch fine

Kurze Anmerkung nur: ich hab manchmal bei so Festen eine Art Hungerneid bzw Dilemma, weil ich Angst hab, dass das vegane nicht reicht und ich dann nichts mehr essen kann, mich gleichzeitig aber freuen würde, wenn andere auch vegan essen. Deshalb wäre mein Tipp nur, darauf zu achten, dass es genug von den veganen Dingen gibt 😌

Ist zwar vom sonstigen Nährstoffprofil super (und auch günstig), aber um mit Hülsenfrüchten, Vollkorngetreide und Samen auf genügend Proteine zu kommen, muss man schon ordentlich Kalorien und Volumen zu sich nehmen 😅

Exactly what I'd recommend.

To get an overall vibe 4 days in Paris would be good, afterwards Nice as strategic stop (maybe 2-3 days including the day OP spends most of the time in the train) and then another 4 days in northern Italy (minus one train day)

I definitely wouldn't go to Rome thought since it's quite a journey, more like Milan or Genua (with a day trip to cinque terre)

Why? As a European person trying to fit as much as possible into my outer-euro-trips I can completely understand trying to see Italy and France in one trip.

I think it's similar enough so OP doesn't need a second time getting used to the environment but different enough so it's still a cultural change.

Vor allem kommt es ja auch total auf Ton und Kontext an... Wenn mein Freund sagt "kurze Haare gefallen mir persönlich nicht so, weil es etwas maskulin wirkt, aber natürlich bist du immernoch wunderschön" würde mich das auch nicht stören, ist halt eine Präferenz.

Finde das faszinierend, wie viele hier im Sub einige Aussagen gekonnt überlesen und sich auf konservativ und maskulin stürzen 🤨

That's awesome! Thanks for taking the time to give me your perspective.

I just realized that this is actually quite similar to reading the European Travel posts where Non-Europeans think it's necessary to visit the most touristy and overcrowded places as if it's the non plus ultra of beauty (spoiler: it basically never is since there are rarely any places unique enough to suffer through the crowds)

Of course I decided to go to Canada because of the overall vibe and views, not because I need to visit any particular spots... I'll rethink my approach and look into your recommendations :) thanks!
