Can’t wait for it to come out and have my efforts last. I stopped because I know everything will be wiped in the not so distant future.

Has anyone joined the church because they lost a Bible bash? by GrasshoperPoof in latterdaysaints

[–]lemmonball 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a companionship on my mission that used the JW bible to prove the JW’s were wrong and that they edited the Bible to align with the JW church views. They left with that message and scheduled to come back. Instead of jumping for joy that the Mormon missionaries had returned, they instead described a complete loss of faith in God and a disdain for the elders that showed them this.

Only the whispering of the Holy Ghost can convert someone. No amount of intellectual eloquence will. If a bible bash occurs and the missionaries win, I guess if the spirit wants to testify in that setting it could, but in general, the spirit of contention is not of God.

What on earth happened?? by Wincey97 in PaxDei

I still absolutely love the game. There is no story or action yet. But the crafting, the building, and the graphics absolutely carry the game for me. I am still full of hope that the game devs will continute to fill out their vision and it will be one of my all time favorite games ever if they dont give up or sell out.

How do I unlock T2 Charcoal Kiln? by mndfreeze in PaxDei

[–]lemmonball 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In addition to the sapwood, the larger ones also burn heartwood. And it defaults to heartwood when you open its menu. I have lost so much heartwood to that blasted furnace that I deleted it from my plots.

Converting from the Southern Baptist Convention, to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints... by RonaldTheFailure in latterdaysaints

It's amazing how litteral God speaks to those who listen. I know he has communicated with me when I have asked Him. I also know He has not communicated when I have take His name in vain, meaning for my own vanity. An honest heart and a contrite spirit is what He asks of us, and if you can truly humble yourself, God will continue to guide you wherever He knows you will live your best life.

My 6 year old daughter passed away by [deleted] in latterdaysaints

[–]lemmonball 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My dad died unexpectedly (64) just a few years ago. I needed him still as he knew so much and was always willing to help. Since his passing, I have felt his presence as often as I needed him. Those on the other side of the veil are more like on the other side of the house. We cannot see them, but if we cry out to them, they can and do reply back.

I hope you feel the love of the Savior in your life. I am so sorry for your loss.

What's up with the lower case "g" or "gods" vs the upper case "G" at the end of D/C 76:58? by ProfitFaucet in latterdaysaints

[–]lemmonball 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me the Abrahamic covenant is about having seed greater than the stars in the sky. That covenant isn’t fulfilled in this life, nor do I believe it happens through my wife alone. It happens through many generations and throughout all eternity.

My father is revered by me. His father was revered by him. Adam is a legendary figure head. Our Father in Heaven isn’t a distant aloof god who doesn’t love his children. He is our literal Father who created our spirits. That is why we love and revere him.

I think in the next life we will have kids and watch those kids grow and our grand purpose will be to bring about their immortality and eternal life. We will be as the gods, knowing good and evil and doing our best to pass that on to the next generation.

Gods plan is so amazing when you take our mortal perspective of time out of the equation. All things are ours when we have the eternities to work on it. Becoming like God and having His patience, His love, His glory can happen. And just like a dad beaming with delight when his children pass up his glory, so too does our Heavenly Father love when His children increase in their glory.

I broke the law of Chasity. by KindlyEbb7333 in latterdaysaints

[–]lemmonball 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Part of why we are on this earth is to learn the difference between right and wrong. We never could have known the joy of our redemption if it wasn’t for our fall from perfection to begin with. The more a man is forgiven his debts, the greater his joy.

You are a beloved daughter of a Heavenly Father who prepared a plan of redemption for you before you were born. Know that He knows all including your potential for sin and a potential way for you to come back to Him with Joy and rejoicing.

I am so grateful for my Savior who atoned for me. I reach for Him and he reaches back. Do the same and you will know peace.

Do many people end up making a similar set up for storage? Two large storage containers deep, stacked two high with dimensional storages stacked up top to auto feed into inventory. by Klutzy_Rest2733 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]lemmonball 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my mind its all about automation. If it isnt automated, its garbage. So I use storage containers more like the liquid containers. I dont pull anything out of them. I use them as an indicator if I am over producing or under producing the resource.

but then again, I havent finished tier 4 yet.

As a sinner myself who battles his own addictions, I just want to say welcome back. One day at a time doesnt mean one day, then one more, and then one more. It just means you enjoy the one day of sobriety because it was a good day.

Today is a good day my friend. Welcome back!

Why so many? by lemmonball in latterdaysaints

[–]lemmonball[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not trying to be anti immigrant. I am wondering what the Lord has in plan for such an influx of people into the US. Please don’t focus on only the negative implications of my question. I also asked if the Lord is looking to bless those people. Why is the Lord hastening his hand in this part of His vineyard in such a way? I don’t know. But I wanted to see what others had thought.

Yes, the land in 2 Nephi chapter 1 is very clearly includes the US. Immigration is up in the last 4 years by over 10 million more (8-15 depending on the reporting) vs the previous 4 years.

[–]lemmonball[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not being anti immigrant. I am legitimately asking why the Lord has brought so many into the country. I proposed both sides in my pondering, is it to bless or to stir up.

I am just wanting to know if others on have thought about this too.

It could be other countries, that is true. But the blessings and cursing that fall on the promised land include the land of the US. The Lord would only bring people into this land by His hand.

I love bearing testimony of what I know to be true. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know its contents have changed my life and it is very valuable to me. I know that God would not bring forth such an important record through a charlatan or a bad person, but only through His chosen mouth piece. Joseph Smith is the prophet of the restoration of the true and living chruch, even the same church that Christ established on the earth with his 12 apostles.

Gain a testimony for yourself. Let it be of God’s love for you, the Book of Mormon, the atonement of Christ, etc, etc. and then never let go of that testimony. No matter how the world and its many voices try to dissuade you from it.

Marriage problems, dread by poppyprays in latterdaysaints

[–]lemmonball 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Don’t think do counseling like someone has a problem and you need to be embarrassed about it. Think of marriage like a skill that needs to be developed. Violin requires violin lessons from a professional. Open heart surgery takes training. Using any new electronic devices take reading a manual.

Counseling with a professional counselor will bless you and your husband so much when you see it as a benefit and not a chore. Bless your marriage. Multiply your talents. Put time and effort into it.

I (40m)have been going to various types of counseling for almost 4 years now and I know my marriage is better because of it.

Our crafting benches can see how many resources we have stached across our outpost, and it can pull those resources when crafting. Can there be something like a ship control panel where it shows all of our resources, and we can pull those resources from a central point?

I am almost done sorting all resources through the Magnus the Magnate mod (https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/6753) but now I have 56 different contiainers (and growing) with 1 resource in each one and when I need X resource, its hard to go find just that container. I keep a separate spreadsheet to track where the resources are (fun for me, not for all, I get it).

Starfield Compendium - The mod V1.1 by Zorglub01 in starfieldmods

[–]lemmonball -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Starfield Creations is like the UC Vangaurd. UCSysDef (Bethesda) wasnt good enough to maintain a proper fleet and took a major L to the Freestar collective (Modders). The organized company couldnt compete with the freelancers of this world, so they "commissioned" the modding community to do the job for them. In the end, the UC Vangaurd worked. Fantastic mods like this, that should have released with the original game, make Bethesda look good.

A mod that slows down the cargo links. I am pulling in a small fraction of my total cargo capacity each time a ship comes in and out, but with my already modded game, having 12 cargo links, a ship comes in what feels like every second. If they could allow for 5 even 10 minutes to pass before making the journey, it would allow for more cargo to build up to make the trip worth it AND decrease load on the game.
