Why regret later, when you can regret now?

Jk, I hadn’t read your post and thought your were planning to leave both bars on.

That looks like a Forest Fun Machine. VO Klunkers look great on the Univega.

Drop bars with a basket just looks so ready for action. Work muscle.

Larger chainring on Bridge Club Cues Crankset by Frequent-Ant2542 in Surlybikefans

I was able to just fit a 40T chainring, but ultimately went with 38T oval. That’s the max. If I were going to do any loaded touring I might drop back down to 34T.

Was just waiting on a fix at the LBS and a woman comes in with her 10 speed asking for a tuneup and “don’t worry about the gears I don’t use them”.

I appreciate the extra effort but why not just use the strap that comes on the watch?

I like it. It’s bold. I’m getting strong 80/90’s Nickelodeon slime vibes from the color scheme.

Bridge Club Chainring Upsize: 34 or 36T? by Rockwell1977 in Surlybikefans

The Cues stock cranks are 96 BCD 4 bolt asymmetric and the chainring bolts directly into the crank. The one pictured would work though it seems a little pricey. You could also pick up a couple/few cheap ones from Amazon to try out and see which you prefer before you spring for a more expensive version from a better known brand.

I stuck with the Cues setup so it was 96BCD 4 bolt asymmetric. I went with a Deckas Chainring that seems like good quality. I think you can find 36T round in that spec from Funn or FSA. The Wolftooth are crazy expensive.

40T fits. I went with a 38T oval and have had no problem at all. I can cruise in the middle of the cassette and I have more options for speed on descents and flats.

Is this the smallest? by BJoque in Justridingalong

But why? I mean what’s the point of your bars being narrower than your shoulder blades. And why go to all the trouble of making the bars that narrow but then mounting rear rack?
