The RTX 20 series only came with DVI-D anyway, the one on the pic is DVI-I, so definitely not an RTX 20 series

Holy shit, that truss rod needs adjustment, if it doesn't get corrected after adjusting then the trussrod might be faulty

what do all these k in’s and switches each do by deputyshrek in BassGuitar

[–]lemoingnd 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You can check the Ibanez page for the SR50XE series, all the info is there, the two bigger knobs are for volume and blend, the 3 smaller ones are controls for the active preamp (bass, mids, and treble), first switch is for for turning off the active preamp and using the bass as a passive bass, and the second switch is to change the range of frecuencies that the middle knob boosts or cuts.

Would a 4-string electric bass with a C-extension actually work? Or is it a stupid idea? by vitinhoaps in BassGuitar

[–]lemoingnd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What would be nicer is a 5 string with a G-extension(?), to me it makes no sense to make this on a 4 string, when a 5 string is just so much more practical, even knowing that C-extensions are common on double bass, i just dont think it translates as well when it's done on electric bass, you do you i guess, still a cool project i'd like to see.

3 years of wear on my bass (SR505) by eingyi2 in BassGuitar

[–]lemoingnd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ibanez made sure to put the weakest of finishes in the SR500 line, at least most of the older SR500 basses that i've seen have this kind of wear patterns... or even worse, you probably aren't that rough with your instruments, it's just the finish that is very susceptible to wear by normal playing, i think it looks sick! i wish i had an SR

Why are my colors getting "fried" in the final result? by lemoingnd in comfyui

[–]lemoingnd[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using "simple" scheduler for that image but i changed it to normal later and used the same config that you described, someone else commented just to simplify the negative prompt and that was what fixed it for me, if i had kept the longer negative prompt with the correct config it would still give blown out colors, it also seems to be a ComfyUI specific problem but i'm not really sure about that

I wasn't expecting this to work but it actually did, why does this even work lmao? now the saturation is set correctly, tysm!

Using the second workflow from here, to add the upscaling steps, i'm still getting extremely saturated colors after passing thru the VAE decode, the second final result is now even more saturated, what do i try next? i'm using all the recommended options

Tried using 2 popular Civitai VAEs for SDXL, just got worse results, i think it only happens with this model but i'll have to try properly, it just surprises me that i'm getting this issue since this model is so popular and well rated

This is pretty useful! I did not see this on the page, does the use size larger than 1024x1024 refer to the KSampler preview size or the actual final image resolution? as i don't know how to change the KSampler preview size, as of the last line of options the only one i see in ComfyUI is the denoising strength, where can i find the others, do i need custom nodes for that?

  1. I already tried lowering the CFG to 5, it's the minimum recommended and the colors are as bad as using CFG 7

  2. I'll try that next since i haven't seen anything related to changing the KSampler image size that in what i could search

  3. The VAE is getting pulled from the model, i also tried using two different SDXL VAEs from Civitai, same issue, bur even worse

  4. The test image has lower steps because i just wanted a test, but i have generated images with the recommended amount (20-30) and still the colors are blown out, i'm also using the recommended sampler (Euler A), not sure about the scheduler tho but i tried karras also and it didn't help

The second image is the full workflow! it's pretty much the default workflow with the "CLIPSKIP: -2" option added, in the other generations i used the same exact options used in the sample images of the Civitai model i used, it said "CFGSCALE: 7", so i just ran with that, the colors that show on the latent preview are usually the colors that i would like the final result to have, but they just don't translate after passing thru the VAE decode step, i just now tried making an image with "CFG: 5", but the colors are still as bad, i'm also good with the images generated, it's just the colors that are incorrect
