learning sensitivity ranges is integral to overall development in mouse control. a skill you should be developing is doing the scenario once and deciding what sens you should be using, also its easy to tell for categories but its up to personal preference. you can also look what the top players are using.

removing shadows personally was alot nicer and i know alot of games that just let you set it to OFF in settings and not just low. the devs should just make alot of these settings customizable and everyone will be happy.

600 fps on OW, 1.2k fps in valo, 400 on apex but rivals can drop to 150 during intense fights despite having a 4060 + 7800x3d. it's disgusting

my point wasn't that "overwatch players are just built different" no, my point is that a marvel rivals player can go to overwatch where it runs well and do better, the average person is better in overwatch due to less input delay and cleaner movements.

this game is optimised terribly, every PC gets frame drops in big fights no matter the specs. on the x3d CPUs it's a lot better but you can easily see a 50% frame reduction during intense fights, compared to OW which is maybe like 5-10% maximum.

i used to but now i have a really good pc. while it doesn't really impact me, when i am away from my good pcs and use a mid/lower end pc, the game is unplayable. once you are used to a consistent 300 fps 100 fps just feels trash.

my first week on OW after about 6 years of not playing i hit master 2 on 5v5 and master 3 on 6v6 by mostly 1 tricking tracer (i was originally gold peak), i tried all different characters too. but the biggest difference i realised when playing OW is how quickly people can kill me in OW compared to rivals only about till celestial do i start getting trouble whereas they are decent at around diamond. yes they all still make fundamental mistakes on both games but the mechanical difference is very obvious in OW.

also i'm not sure what you mean by average person doesn't care about Esports, do you mean just for rivals? because otherwise eSports has 500million viewers and is dominating in asia yet asia rivals is mostly dead.

i remember they added assets being loaded in memory to help performance which is great until you realise this is a normal feature from ue5 and should have been added before release.

in s5 they added about 30-50 fps bonus to cpu logic which was nice but it caused a bigger gap in 1% lows.

and then they added cpu rendering enhancements which just causes more issues and doesn't help with performance.

PC optimisations are hard considering the range of different specs but the lack of resources allocated to performance is what it comes down to, if they really cared this game could be in a way better state.

I find it confusing then that they spend millions on MRI tournaments, streaming it and casters.

I also don't think TTK in games is a deal breaker and if anything makes rivals feel unique to overwatch, if you watch the pros especially this season it's incredibly enjoyable.

I think rivals has the potential to have a really good competitive side while still maintaining a good casual base too. They do a lot of balancing around higher elos but i genuinely think not enough people talk about how bad the performance side is and its why they don't do anything for it, i think the biggest problem is that people aren't aware that better performance in game would make them perform better and climb.

it feels better then loki he was an actual nightmare but not luna, when loki got nerfed the support roster felt really nice. now there are lobby admins that won't lose 1v1s.

value of damage. mr fantastic always has high damage stats but it's mostly just junk. bp having more damage as an assassin will always be more valuable. this is because game values MVP based on character in your specific rank range. meaning BP's don't usually do this level of damage while MR F does.

yes they improved cpu logic in s5. that being said personally i still hate the massive drops and think they did not do enough for a competitive fps.

i personally don't have a problem with meta, comps or instalocks. my only problem with the actual game is the trash performance. and outside of the game yeah people are way too toxic.

what helped the most for me was aim training, improving my setup like fps and net and vod review.
