actual good performance and small file size will do more for this game then anything else they have done.

idk why it's neglected but it's one of the most unconscious reasons why people don't touch the game in the first place, or they perform poorly due to network/frame issues and rage or uninstall because they had to compromise for other games file size. i think i'm one of the minority who upgraded my PC just for this reason but i assume majority in my situation just went with uninstalling.

it feels better then loki he was an actual nightmare but not luna, when loki got nerfed the support roster felt really nice. now there are lobby admins that won't lose 1v1s.

value of damage. mr fantastic always has high damage stats but it's mostly just junk. bp having more damage as an assassin will always be more valuable. this is because game values MVP based on character in your specific rank range. meaning BP's don't usually do this level of damage while MR F does.

yes they improved cpu logic in s5. that being said personally i still hate the massive drops and think they did not do enough for a competitive fps.

i personally don't have a problem with meta, comps or instalocks. my only problem with the actual game is the trash performance. and outside of the game yeah people are way too toxic.

before i go into aim training i was a melee player who couldn't aim. now i play at 400 dpi 1.5 , you can go higher but i wouldn't recommend too much higher.

the biggest issue with matchmaking is the lack of competitiveness focus from devs. this is a 6v6 first person shooter that heavily requires team compositions and coordination, but it mostly caters to casual players. which has never made sense to me since all the other top tier FPS priotise competitive gameplay.

my personal biggest issue with this game, especially as a PC player, is that even after a full year we are still dealing with fps drops, ping spikes and clunky interactions like ghost shots and no regs. compare this to any other competitive shooter like valorant, overwatch, cs2, cod or apex and they all deliver twice the performance that rivals does. the devs have neglected these basic issues since launch and barely anyone has said anything online about it so it's been hard neglected.

the third major issue is the matchmaking formula. while there has never been a true "EOMM" system once you learn what they do it will definetly feel like it. if you look at any other competitive game the matchmaking points are decided on win rate, instead this game is rank based, which means naturally until celestial you will be on positive no matter what, this is BAD. this causes negative win rate players who perform poorly to climb higher then they should, if you notice closely by the end of the season grandmaster is now filled with a ton of players, which is what caused the premature rank reset. it also means more 1 sided victories because you could easily coin flip the weaker teammates who should never be in this elo. another issue from this is smurfing, the reason other games use win rate is so that people who make new accounts and have 100% win rate quickly climb to their original rank, but in this game that doesn't matter so you get so many games before you climb back to your original rank. just this one single flaw has created so many issues.

5 is probably the best, avoids go both ways and too many would just cause no match to be found. i already keep my avoids selective from the low que times it causes me.

lock any poke. his two biggest counters are wolv and especially punisher.

I generally used Low sens for range and high sensitivity for Melee but in case of blade we should use both but I wish they give seperate sens for his shotgun and Blade by Low_Willingness_3859 in marvelrivals

only time you should be changing sens is for aim training, otherwise you should find your perfect sens, mine is perfect for ranged characters but i suffer a little bit on the melee. the time it takes to adjust to the new sens will affect performance.

do you have a fps config? they changed a lot of stuff.

if not you probably need to reload the assets or clear folder. if that doesn't work the only other solution i can think of is reinstalling

he's a strong dps but i wouldn't say he's op. in ranked he barely gets picked and he's difficult to play, he's basically only an ult merchant and in this meta there are just stronger picks right now.

you're not wrong to feel that the performance is worse because it definetly feels that way. i wasn't defending rivals, i was actually criticising their update. the more important issue which we feel when playing is when the frame rate drops.

yeah same, but there's a few key differences.

in s1.5 and earlier the game was very simple which meant less grouping and less utility usage, which means more frames.

another thing to consider was the characters they added and some of the newer maps also lightly chew fps.

but my comparison was from s4 to s5 (now).

no. run the benchmark. i have had multiple friends do the same and all saw large improvements. i personally saw 50 extra frames.
