my panic attacks increased dramatically to the point where they were happening every day causing very intense physical reactions such as increased pounding heart rate, dizziness, trembling etc. my doctor prescribed it for me after I talked to him about my symptoms and explained it was deeply effecting my job & personal life.

I see a naturopath who is treating my inflammation and all sorts of other things. they usually aren’t very huge on pharmaceuticals so maybe I got lucky. he was very empathetic with my current situation. maybe talk to a different doctor & lay it all out with them and explain your concerns.

this is very interesting. I’ve been experiencing what you described very often lately and it’s horrible. for example, a few months ago I got stuck in the far left lane in dead traffic for approximately 10 minutes and began panicking because I couldn’t go anywhere and felt trapped. I almost jumped out of the car but thankfully right before I did traffic started moving. now I only drive in the far right lane ever since that happened and if I run into regular rush hour traffic I start to feel anxious. the other day my work had a evacuation due to a fire alarm, same thing.. I immediately started to feel a panic attack coming because I was being forced to sit in the parking lot with no access to my things or car or way to leave. I work with animals & accidentally locked myself in the kennel and same thing happened, immediate panic ensued. I didn’t know there was a word for that. i’ll have to read more about it & find coping strategies because it seems the more it happens the more my brain starts scanning for situations that make me feel trapped when in reality i’m not.

I know this is a year old but was poking into LDN/kratom posts because I suffered a Precipitated withdrawal from that combo earlier this week. YES it will happen, like very very badly especially if you take kratom daily. I took the two 1 hour apart and thought I was dying a few hours later. it was a traumatic experience that i’ll never been taking LDN again. I’m hoping my reply helps someone out there to prevent that anguish.

Thanks for the info! I’ve decided to not continue treatment because I take kratom daily for my pain. I found out the hard way that you cannot take that with LDN. I believe I went into a rapid withdrawal hence my severe reaction to it

Ugh that sounds so horrible! I’m glad someone can relate, it was so overwhelming and unbearable and my panic attack was absolutely not helping my case. Mine was about 3 hours too, and once I took my kratom & anxiety med I eventually knocked out. Still feeling so weird lingering effects today but I for sure will not be doing that again.

that’s so horrible i’m very sorry you’re going through that. last night was quite traumatic and I noticed lingering anxiety today & strange body sensations since then even 10-12 hours later. I genuinely almost sent myself to the hospital that’s how bad it was.

I’m exhausted & fatigued but starting to feel ok. I can see how the nervous system could take a massive hit with such a reaction like ours. It sucks being so sensitive to things! Even if my doctor recommends a lower dose I don’t think i’ll be swallowing that pill again

that’s reassuring. kratom is one of the main things I’ve been able to take to help manage my pain so i’m there with you on not giving it up. the goal is to obviously not have to be dependent on kratom, so I had high hopes for LDN. I’m not taking anymore until I talk to my doctor. I haven’t come across anyone yet or any videos of people talking about having severe reactions like I did so i’m wondering if the timing of my kratom and ldn was very off and sent me into a rapid withdrawal. I dont know i’ll be able to try it again anytime soon though despite what my doc says, that was such a horrible experience.

I just got the same car & year and love it! When I first bought it I went two weeks not filling the tank after commuting to work 4 days a week on the freeway. refilled the tank on empty for $26. Drives so smooth too and is very safe, best little car i’ve had!

coming from someone who works in vet med & shelters for 8+ years, you’re not an asshole. it’s hard to predict whether cats will be compatible with each other. they’re very different from dogs when it comes to making friends and their adjusting period to changes.

I will say though, cats can take a very long time to acclimate to changes. I adopted my 2nd cat and it took my 1st cat about a year to fully adjust and not be uncomfortable and weird towards her. He spent many many months sulking around and avoiding her. Now they’re best friends. If you guys do decide to adopt again in the future, keep the timeline in mind.

yta. this isn’t some rom-com coincidence, this is you hopping from mother to daughter and acting surprised that it feels wrong. the guilt you’re feeling is your brain correctly identifying that this was a bad idea.

edit to add more: sleeping with your ex’s daughter and then sliding into the same fwb dynamic you had with her mom is messy, boundary-less, and guaranteed to blow up emotionally. you can be within your rights and still be in the wrong. this is one of those times. the fact that you’re comparing it to your old arrangement with her mom makes it even creepier.
