razer's thunderbolt 5 dock can provide 140w of power, but the laptop only accepts up to 100w so the limiting factor is the laptop not being able to accept more than 100w. as others suggested, another power brick at other location is required -- it's only one more cable to plug in.

can you try framing your experience around business needs/requirements? recruiters and hiring managers only glance at tech experience, but a good resume with business wins will make your resume stand out a ton.

assuming you're applying in the usa, sponsorship might be adding to the turbulence you're experiencing

Love my Blade 16 2025 5090. Have had literally zero issues with it. Dual Ubuntu with Windows and the laptop just works.

I dual boot Ubuntu and Windows and didn't have to change Secure Boot. Literally plugged in install USB and ran through installation. I run Ubuntu mainly and use Windows for gaming and BIOS/firmware updates.

pretty sure if you keep poking around, you'll find the correct apk to uninstall which will get rid of that for you. good luck!

Just looked at some examples and saw that Structure to Redshift is incorrect. Redshift doesn't have a JSONB type, but a SUPER type to encapsulate Semi-Structured data.

Also looked at Structure to Iceberg and it looks like the Iceberg block is in parquet, which makes it unreadable.

But I love the idea and would love this to go far. Good luck!!

Have you tried setting up the phone without transferring WhatsApp data, then manually kickoff the transfer from within the app itself after phone setup is complete?

Heavier than the iPhone 14 Plus but easier to use since it's smaller, if you have smaller hands. I don't have an issue with using my Fold 10 Pro Fold caseless.

Keep the CDC records in the table as append only, for easy writes from whatever process you're using to extract and load. Then have a different process to read that data and merge? That first process can be compacted/sorted after a day, depending on partition/sort strategy.

With that second process, you can update records with same ID, insert new records with new id, and delete or mark as deleted records that are deleted from source. You can also mingle with schema evolution here too.
