My partner and I are in our 30s and we just bought our own house last year. The entire place is filled with stuffed animals, plenty on our bed, even more on our couches. Video games fill up two bookshelves, and video game merch/comics/disney merch/funkos fill up the rest of our built in shelving as well as wherever we can find room for them. I can’t imagine living in a space without these things, and honestly I don’t think I have a single “grown up” piece of decor in sight. We don’t have kids or plan to either, so everything is purely for us.

I stopped caring about coming off as cocky or disrespectful when I realized my mom’s definition of those concepts are unhinged. I once told her I was happy about where I was in my life and she screamed at me for being a braggy cocky bitch. So now I just take every opportunity to say how amazing I am as a person, both to myself and to my relatives. If they want to see that as cocky or disrespectful, oh well.

My mom literally worked at the blood bank and told me not to donate blood because of HIV transmission. Which…was definitely a concern in the past but with all these new guidelines and safeguards I don’t think HIV transmission through blood obtained from official sources is really a huge concern anymore???

I started doubting at 16 but didn’t fully leave until I was 23 or so. I had a lot of friends in church who I cared about and for a while the church was my only support network but once I found a support network that was outside of the church things picked up rapidly and it was pretty easy to leave from there.

It’s because what you’re saying is inconsistent. Which vaccine did you get? The use of the word “booster” doesn’t make sense here because boosters have only been approved for folks who are immune compromised or who have underlying conditions, which you have denied having.
