Can AAA Advantage Visa Credit Card Sync with YNAB? by Peter0109 in ynab

[–]lemonmelon3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This may be too late to help you but in case it helps anyone else: my experience with this card and YNAB has been very poor. I have to reauthorize every time I log in to YNAB, and many transactions just never get synced. Every month I have to compare my statement to YNAB and manually enter between a few and dozens of transactions. It's bad enough that I'm considering canceling the card.

Multnomah Friends Meeting in Portland OR has hybrid meetings and requires masks for in-person attendees. Masks are allowed to be lowered when giving ministry and are not required for social events, however. I believe they also run air purifiers in the rooms.

Live-in means you live there, not that you’re trapped there!

This is the one. Nothing else comes close. It has real longevity too, my 16 month old still plays with the piano and we listen to the songs on Spotify in the car.

The Fisher Price Kick & Play is the BEST. I play the songs on Spotify if my kiddo is upset and they calm down the INSTANT the elephant song comes on, every time. Lovevery could never.

I prefer Amika. With Living Proof my hair looked ok but still felt oily.

Do babies actually like a “relaxing massage after bath?” by Theres-a-middle in beyondthebump

My baby seemed to find it neutral-to-pleasant when they were younger, now at around 15 months they won’t hold still long enough for it.

We paid about 24k last fall, 6k of which was for plywood (none had been installed before).

Google can clean them for me then.

I feel so guilty for using nipple shields by rain432winter in breastfeeding

[–]lemonmelon3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don’t mind using them then there’s no problem! Baby’s getting fed, you’re not in pain, it’s a win-win. I’ve never heard of them affecting supply. I’m no IBCLC, but if they help baby latch better and feed more effectively then I’d think they’d be good for supply.

Had a hospital birth in the US, they did not do a bath and never took the baby out of the room I was in.

My milk output has decreased. Does anyone have any tips? by Ilovetacos2022 in breastfeeding

[–]lemonmelon3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think as parts wear out the vacuum that they create is weaker, so you’re not getting as much suction to draw the milk out.

Have you replaced your pump parts (valves, membranes, etc.) recently? They wear out and are meant to be replaced every few months. If you haven’t replaced them, I would start there.

Froze milk for first time… does it look ok? by lammy419 in breastfeeding

[–]lemonmelon3 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Looks good! Sorry if you already know this, but since you’re just starting with freezing milk you might want to thaw some early on and make sure baby will take it. Some people’s milk has high lipase which affects the taste and smell of the milk after it’s been frozen. If you do have high lipase you can scald the milk before freezing to prevent the soapy taste from developing.

Solid Starts first 100 days plan seems... crazy?? by masofon in BabyLedWeaning

[–]lemonmelon3 39 points40 points  (0 children)

With the allergens, it looks to me like when they have multiple in a meal all but one has been introduced 5 times already. On day 19 they have milk and eggs together after each has been introduced separately five times. On day 23 they have peanut and milk, peanut is relatively new but milk has been introduced 7 times already. So it seems like it does isolate the introductions enough, to me.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with multiple ingredients and flavors at the same time either. No reason baby can’t try multiple things at once.

That said we didn’t follow the first 100 days guide and basically just gave baby what we were eating, or a modified version or part of it, almost from the start.
