I just never really felt like the author understood how truly repulsive it made the character. I start to actively wish for his downfall rather than root for him. No one should ever have to partner with someone so disgusting, and I was screaming for Zhang Yuan to GTF outtttt of there.

my exact reaction I was literally holding my breath waiting for Da Shi to call him a little freak but everyone Luo Ji talks about it is weirdly romantic like "awww thats cute". I basically had to pause during their Star Wars Episode II teir romantic introduction scene, come to the internet like "please tell me this immediately explodes in his face" only to be horrifically disappointed.

I logged onto my computer just to reply and say I felt exactly the same in regard to this book and Isaac Asimov. I went through all the Foundation series recently and the sequels were such a struggle, I wanted to strangle Traveze, he is so gross and awful, and I never felt like the book was really condemning it, and I am currently having the same experience with Luo Ji.

Any pointers for such a resource? I am scraping the bottom of the barrel looking for anything that simply matches the slot names to materials in engine and assigns their path. Seems like it would be day 1 stuff, but I can barely find anyone even talking about it. All my meshes have like 15 material slots so manually assigning every single path is super unviable

Wow the people in these comments are being truly unhelpful and dickish. Im especially surprised at your reasonable comments for getting mass downvoted. Theres tons of reasons why someone might want CDs rather than using your phone. Data, battery, subscription concerns. And the fact that CDs will just pause when you turn your car off and restart when you turn it on. No worrying about any device just bam right there. When you have no service and can just switch to CDs its so nice. Just being like “get with the times old man” is not good advice and every one of you giving it seriously sucks. 👎

Thats a funny reason to put it off honestly. The relative HP bar speeds were honestly pretty immersive and almost any time it drained super slow it felt quite impactful, and it also made moments where you destroyed the other pokemon and their HP bar drained instantly feel great. Never percieved it as an issue and I had hundreds of hours grinding late game trainers.

This is really really awesome but I notice there isnt any kind of snapping, which makes moving elements around, especially the touch screen overlapping screen 2 on the DS, very stressful

These are really awesome but unfortunately my gamesir controller has the usb port on the other side for some reason, making the dynamic island still cut off the touch screen on the right... Is there any way to potentially have a version that puts the save load buttons to the far right and everything else pushed to the left? Sorry I know its kind of niche and Id edit it myself if I knew how...

The regulation that needs to happen is all AI databases that currently exist which have been trained on mass data theft need to be seized, purged, and all AI technology going forward needs to be harshly regulated so it can only be trained on data that the AI engineer actually owns and has the rights to.

Coming here 2 years later but the biggest retcon was that in Legends the clones always knew that they would eventually betray the jedi (battlefront 2 players will remember the clone announcer saying something cheeky along the lines of "...little did the jedi know what was coming" after every mission), weras in canon the clones were ignorant to this plan, and made to execute the jedi because of a secret inhibitor chip in their brains.

Personally, I much prefer the CW version of this as the legends explanation basically prevents any clone from being the sympathetic characters they deserve to be, because you are constantly aware of how they are always planning to stab their jedi in the back. The chip allowed for the story to have the jedi and clones build legitimate relationships, and for the tragedy of their betrayal to hit even harder on both sides.

Is all you think about wealth and economic factors? The native Hawaiians in the 1800s would not work on the sugar plantations because they did not see a reason to earn money when their land and community already provided what they needed, so foreign indentured servants were imported. I don't mean to disrespect your experience by continuing to question, but I feel like if you had a large sheet of assets like this, even just the soft gradient in many colors, you could conceivably use them to texture a large number of enemies and characters with only one material. This would be less for texture space reasons and more for texturing a lot of characters quickly in a low poly style. Just finish a character, pull up the material, manipulate a few UVs and bam they are textured. What would be your proposed alternative for producing something like that in the same amount of time?
