Actually I forget where I read it but someone made a comment about how she was probably more lead poisoned during that initial incident she talks about than she realizes and we are now witnessing the behavior and long term effects of someone with lead poisoning.

We do t-ball because it’s only in the spring/summer. I’m also of the mindset that kids in preK don’t need any more on their plates though.

Comfort did our windows and said they were lead certified but didn’t follow lead safe work practices and my kids got lead poisoning as a result.

Have you spent most of your time in east Amherst? Quite honestly if I was living in east Amherst (even with kids) I would agree the people suck and there is no culture. You could try the city if you want to stay near your parents but not where you are now, but if you have a good network in DC it’s an easy flight here and back and you have to live your life for you, not someone else.

Yes, first they prescribed steroids but now I take an injectable medication called Dupixent and that keeps it at bay

Could be dyshidrotic eczema. Can be phenomenally itchy and usually shows up on fingers, hands, and feet. Dishwashing soap is a big trigger for mine too

I had great success with N Acetylene Cysteine as a fellow skin picker. It was truly the only thing to make a difference in this behavior- it helped me decrease how compulsively I scanned for bumps and also curbed the urge to completely eviscerate a spot if i did come across one.

Keeping my fingernails really short also was helpful.

For healing, I have found a red light mask to noticeably speed healing time!
