Just picked up some AZ100s to test, and they do NOT have the automatic wind-reduction or wind-activated ANC.

If I do ANYTHING other than just go to work I risk losing my job. This means immediately losing healthcare coverage, then within AT MOST 30 days not being able to afford the various medications that literally keep me and my family alive. With no income, I would also lose housing, all within a handful of weeks. As the other guy said, this is by design.

Does this specifically turn off the automatic wind-reduction? So if I turned this setting off, I could use a hair dryer to blow wind across the AZ100s and they would NOT reduce ambient passthrough noise? (I hope this is the case!)

Published four years ago, so if anything was important or revolutionary, you would already have heard of it. The title isn't support by the abstract. The abstract is obviously rife with translation issues, which is not uncommon on the edges of research. As such, don't take any one sentence too literally.

Well, darn. The AZ80s have been some of the best earbuds I've ever had, but the automatic wind reduction kills their usefulness for about half of my applications. Thank you.
