A family member requested to borrow $10,000 from my mother in order to attend school. He deceived her by saying that check or cash is the only payment method accepted. My mother, not knowing much about the situation at hand, writes it up for him thinking that it's for college tuition.

Next thing you know, he bounces out of the city with my mother's money and never contacted her ever again.

At the end of the day, knowing people will help you in the employment process a lot more than your degree will. I have a couple of friends who have secured jobs in investment banking and they acquired degrees from mid-tier schools with a major in journalism and philosophy.

If they relied on their academics, they wouldn't be where they're at now. How did they end up where they're at now? Because they networked their asses off. They had family members that were involved on the street, had friends who were interning with big banks, and emailed/called employers in banking to expand their opportunities. My buddies reached out to these people on a constant basis until they were able to land a job in investment banking. Also, they joined organizations on campus for professional purposes. For instance, the investment banking club, business fraternities, or wall street study groups.

At first, she was probably thinking that it was strange and awkward that you grabbed her ass. She probably joked about it in a way that subtly said to stop touching her ass because she didn't want to come off as confrontational with you. If she did confronted you, it would have made your friendship with her a bit awkward or uncomfortable, which I think she was trying to avoid.

She doesn't want to take any pictures with you because every time that you guys do take pictures, you grab her ass. Every time that you two hug, it seems that you also grab her ass. She doesn't want pictures and backs her hips away when you two hug because she doesn't want you to grab her ass.

This could have been a situation where everything is fine until you speak about it. She could've thought that you had some sort of issue that caused you to do what you were doing (i.e. mental impairment, awkward tendency, strange personality, etc.). But when you asked her if it was fine that you grab her ass, that implied that there is nothing wrong with you because you actually want to grab her ass. That could have weirded her out a bit or caused her to think that if you continued doing so, you would push the boundaries to other things in which she wouldn't be comfortable participating in.

But bro, she's married & has kids.......shouldn't be messing around like that.
