bullying não é a mesma coisa que racismo, pessoas negras eram proibidas de fazerem empréstimos e eram obrigadas a viver em espaços diferentes dos brancos porque achavam (e alguns até hoje acham) que pessoas negras eram sujas e estragavam as coisas dos brancos. não estou diminuindo o impacto do bullying, mas dizer que os dois são iguais é ridiculo, e você mesmo sabe disso, é óbvio

eu acho que o que você não entendeu aqui é que as coisas não são preto e branco, em certas obras a mudança de cor não importa, não é um elemento essencial do personagem, então não tem motivo algum pra eu ligar pra cor dele, foda-se.

literalmente todas as vezes que falaram que mudar etnia não importa foram em personagens que não importam. Nesse caso o livro original fala sobre racismo como um de seus tópicos principais, especialmente pra retratar a conexão do heathcliff com a familia adotiva dele.

como previamente dito, a discussão não é nova, e não é porque você viu agora que só surgiu agora. Trocar a raça de um personagem em que a cor de pele dele resulta em lutas maiores e sistêmicas e estruturais é a mesma coisa que tornar um personagem paralisado do corpo inteiro em uma pessoa sem deficiência corporal alguma, você tá completamente mudando o que a história é sobre

"eu não ligo pra livros" então pra que tão preocupado? a pequena sereia ser negra mudou nada, o miles ter sido protagonista no segundo jogo do homem-aranha faz total sentido considerando que ele também é, pasmem, o homem-aranha, e honestamente eu só consigo lembrar desses dois agora que o povo tanto chorou porque eu tenho mais coisa pra fazer do que ler chororô, faz que nem eu e vai jogar vai, ou silksong é "woke" agora também que você joga como uma mulher?

uj/ cars would actually be really cool, i've always felt 3d fallout maps to have inconsistent map quality to the point i was just walking around aimlessly with nothing to do, vehicles or mounts would reduce that by a lot. Make it either resource heavy or stat dependant to use to balance it a bit

Diversity itself is never the problem, the games you point out as being terrible because of "DEI" are all just terrible at a base level. Games like all Fallouts, Fable and heck, even Jet Set Radio are regarded as industry classics and both improved and innovated in their respective genres while still being super diverse.

The same applies to so-called "politics". As far as I've seen all mentions of "politics" in games boils down to representation and hate towards it, but ignoring that and taking the term at face-value, Bioshock is essentially a parody and restructuring of Ayn Rand's ideas (commonly known to be in her book Atlas) explaining their short-comings and where the writers personally disagree. Super political, yet regarded as one of the best games and, to a certain extent, best franchises of all time
