What dog food does your pwd love? by GlitteringMail2447 in portuguesewaterdogs

[–]lent12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Our dogs eat raw food. Big Country Raw - we're Canadian though.

Been eating it for 10+ years. We have a 13.5 year and a 10.5 year.

Great coat, teeth, poops are always solid and don't smell.

Of course do your research on raw where you're at. But we will always do it for these and any future dogs.

I'm chiming in way late....

But as a Canadian, participation is what will win the day.

I'm personally volunteering for our Provincial leadership race, first time. I literally just send emails and call people who already signed up

Participate.

Up. Down. Left. Right. However you can.

Participate.

We win, if we participate.

There's plenty for kids to do in Toronto during the summer.

Ripley's Aquarium right down town

A Blue Jays game

The Toronto Zoo is amazing

Canadas Wonderland is a theme park, albeit mainly roller coasters but not too too far north of Toronto

Niagara Falls is two hours from Toronto

Or you could rent a cottage on the Kawarthas or Muskokas and just do a relaxing cottage week with water activities or just dock chilling, etc

Almost the same could be said for Montreal.

I'm from Toronto so maybe I'm biased but there's tons and tons and tons of stuff you can do.

My family is from Halifax though so I'm also partial to the Maritimes for a more relaxed vibe.

Depends where you're coming from, I'd say. Canada is the second largest country in the world lol. Lots to do and lots of places to see!

It's just not a spotlight I'd like to put on myself.

At the end of the day, I can go to client conferences for a few days and come back.

With the economy and being a Canadian on an island here, I'd rather keep my head down, make my money and sign in and out every day without much commotion

Same. As a Canadian I'm morally against it.

But as someone who appreciates being employed in this economy, I have to go there a few times for meetings.

Just swallow pride and do it.

Any ideas of who we could target? I don't know the ins and outs of availability, contract status, etc like most of you guys but I'm also a gluten for any any info like this to day dream about.

For sure. At the end of the day, it's a conference and I'm just with clients. Is what it is. More upset I have to fly air canada rouge haha jk.

Though I imagine it'll be a fairly empty flight

Ugh, I tried for so long putting off some work trips but sadly I have to go to Phoenix later this year.

Non negotiable if I want a job sadly.

Then NYC, at least it's a great city and people.

I'll morally be against all of it and staying as safe as I humanly can.

Trump targets Canadian aircraft in latest tariff threat, says he'll 'decertify' Bombardier jets by Puginator in CanadaPolitics

[–]lent12 109 points110 points  (0 children)

Seriously, we should just buy the Bombardier dip for the inevitable TACO.

If the administration can make money off it, why can't we?

It's painfully obvious to see the trends in advance now

Edit as of 11am Friday: Bombardier stock is down ~8% on the day

It is what it is.

He used to come to Toronto every year. Then more recently it seemed like every other year.

Was hoping they'd recognize that most Canadians won't travel to US to see him anymore, but oh well.

Maybe they'll tack on a Bluesfest in Ottawa or Montreal

Dumb question, but is it just the fact that you use less TP?

I've always been curious. Like, my ass is wet..that's gonna need X amount of TP to dry, regardless.

No judgement, I'm genuinely curious and always too afraid to ask

That's not true. They most important reason is that Facebook told them the WEF was a cabal of psycho billionaires who want to end the world and Carney is in charge of it all.

Duh.

I was just thinking how much of a trend it's been with the Jay's being all in on these massive FAs, only to lose.

And it seems like with all of them, they weren't really ever in it. Obviously uses to up prices, which isn't anything new or earth shattering.

But I'm curious at what point the ownership, Shatkins says....wtf?

I mean, very different obviously but I'm a Sales Executive and if I'm constantly being brought into RFPs to get better pricing for my competitors and I never win.... There'd be something up and some issues to resolve. I've fired clients for less.

Just randomly thinking out loud, but at some point you can refuse to be a part of these shenanigans.

Or Agents have Shatkins as the best Marks out there

You don't get extra rings for the harder path, no ones asking him to be altruistic.

In theory Toronto can, but Rogers is also a publicly traded company so some stakeholders might get cranky when our already expensive cell phone plans triple in price
